Maybe he thinks those who want to harm us will travel by bicycle?

MORE ON ILLEGAL DRIVERS An infamous incident involved an illegal breaking every driving law, then ending up killing an innocent father of three young children. When the police got to the accident scene, they found some 8-10 drivers waiting to give statements.

The witnesses were eager to tell their story----they had seen this illegal scofflaw jockeying in and out of traffic on a major highway----driving like he was in the Third World hellhole from which he emanted.

All those who witnessed the illegal whacko's erratic driving knew he was going to kill someone. He was tried and sentenced to 6 years jailtime.

Well, since they are in the country illegally anyway, maybe they ought to be entitled to free board and room at Judge Liotti’s home. < / sarcasm >

Judge Liotti should be thrown off the bench for using this case as his own personal soap box. His job was to decide the guilt and punishment for breaking the law, instead he made a political statement.

The Judge’s ruling now makes illegal aliens both surgeons and
doctors in New York. They need no license or education.

“These people have got to take driving tests,” Liotti said in an interview. “Otherwise, they’re out there in many cases without insurance.

get them off American soil and problem solved

Judges should not be able to simply disregard laws they don’t like. This judge should be immediately removed from the bench. The proper course is not just to appeal his decision, but to remove his ability to make decisions.

NY Criminal Defense Lawyer Faces Death Threats: “It’s Like Fighting Ghosts”
Posted by Peter Lattman
New York criminal defense lawyer Thomas Liotti is known for his blunt criticism of judges and prosecutors, as well as taking on some of the most dangerous alleged criminals as clients. Last week, reports the New York Times, he took the unusual step of issuing a press release criticizing the federal Drug Enforcement Agency for what he said was a tepid response to a death threat against him and other lawyers who defend Colombian drug traffickers.

The threat came from an anonymous letter from Colombia that named 22 lawyers, 7 in New York and 15 in Colombia. The letter said any American lawyer found in Colombia would be “captured and executed.” Then, a memo circulated that allegedly came from inside a Colombia prison. The memo rated, Zagat-style, U.S. lawyers who represent drug dealers.

Says Liotti: “I think I won the prize for the most derogatory evaluation.” Next to his name, it reportedly said: “Incompetente, Desleal, Mentiroso, Traidor, Sin Excrupulos” incompetent, disloyal, liar, traitor, without scruples. “Who knows why this threat was made?” Liotti told the Times. “There are just rumors out there, and you never know what the plots and subplots are. It’s like fighting ghosts.”

A spokesperson for the U.S. attorney’s office in Brooklyn said, “We do take these cases very seriously.”

"Instead of dealing with this issue as one concerning our highways, public officials have transformed this highly legitimate concern into a debate on flawed immigration policies," Liotti said.

Another stupid lib judge who thinks its in his job description to make, shape, and comment on public policy rather than just interpret the law. He needs to be put off the bench.

“Justice Thomas Liotti hopes his decision will reopen discussion of Gov. Spitzer’s failed proposal.”

So do I. Let’s ask Hillary what she thinks about it.

"Justice Thomas Liotti hopes his decision will reopen discussion of Gov. Spitzer's failed proposal."

Judge, JUDGE Liotti, it's NOT your job to reopen public discussions. Your job is to enforce the law as written. If you want to get into the business of writing laws, run for the legislature. As a judge, you are subverting our system of government.
