Maybe he thinks those who want to harm us will travel by bicycle?
MORE ON ILLEGAL DRIVERS An infamous incident involved an illegal breaking every driving law, then ending up killing an innocent father of three young children. When the police got to the accident scene, they found some 8-10 drivers waiting to give statements.
The witnesses were eager to tell their story----they had seen this illegal scofflaw jockeying in and out of traffic on a major highway----driving like he was in the Third World hellhole from which he emanted.
All those who witnessed the illegal whacko's erratic driving knew he was going to kill someone. He was tried and sentenced to 6 years jailtime.
Legislating from the bench?
Take the hudge to the town square and stone him for not following our laws.
Gotta be a Clinton appointee.
But they are mostly hard working law abiding people who just want an opportunity to live ...../sarc
Well, since they are in the country illegally anyway, maybe they ought to be entitled to free board and room at Judge Liotti’s home. < / sarcasm >
The Judge’s ruling now makes illegal aliens both surgeons and
doctors in New York. They need no license or education.
Another liberal POS in a black robe

NY Criminal Defense Lawyer Faces Death Threats: Its Like Fighting Ghosts
Posted by Peter Lattman
New York criminal defense lawyer Thomas Liotti is known for his blunt criticism of judges and prosecutors, as well as taking on some of the most dangerous alleged criminals as clients. Last week, reports the New York Times, he took the unusual step of issuing a press release criticizing the federal Drug Enforcement Agency for what he said was a tepid response to a death threat against him and other lawyers who defend Colombian drug traffickers.
The threat came from an anonymous letter from Colombia that named 22 lawyers, 7 in New York and 15 in Colombia. The letter said any American lawyer found in Colombia would be captured and executed. Then, a memo circulated that allegedly came from inside a Colombia prison. The memo rated, Zagat-style, U.S. lawyers who represent drug dealers.
Says Liotti: I think I won the prize for the most derogatory evaluation. Next to his name, it reportedly said: Incompetente, Desleal, Mentiroso, Traidor, Sin Excrupulos incompetent, disloyal, liar, traitor, without scruples. Who knows why this threat was made? Liotti told the Times. There are just rumors out there, and you never know what the plots and subplots are. Its like fighting ghosts.
A spokesperson for the U.S. attorneys office in Brooklyn said, We do take these cases very seriously.
Another stupid lib judge who thinks its in his job description to make, shape, and comment on public policy rather than just interpret the law. He needs to be put off the bench.
“Justice Thomas Liotti hopes his decision will reopen discussion of Gov. Spitzer’s failed proposal.”
So do I. Let’s ask Hillary what she thinks about it.
This will probably be on O’Reilly tonight or Monday. Geraldo is going to be guest too. lol.
“Justice Thomas Liotti hopes his decision will reopen discussion of Gov. Spitzer’s failed proposal. Liotti wrote he is bothered the public has linked the idea of licenses to immigration and national security.”
WTF??? This ‘judge’ needs to be removed NOW.
Conservatives are going to have to get serious about getting involved in government, the media, university professorships and teaching unless they want the country and liberty to go straight down the toilet and into the control of the socialists and Islamofascists who all hate us and our way of life.
Re-open the discussion(?) and get 1 judge and 1 gov. thrown in prison@!! Hopefully!!
He should be removed from the bench for aspirations of grandeur. He fancies himself a dictator, better than the people, and he will force his views down their throats to prove it.
The dispute between Judge Mogil, 46, a lifetime member of the National Rifle Association who is said to have carried a gun in court, and Mr. Liotti, 48, a part-time village justice, began in 1991, when Mr. Liotti, as president of the Nassau County Criminal Courts Bar Association, invited William M. Kunstler, the lawyer, who died last year, to address the group.
Judge Mogil, who had been elected to the bench in 1986 as a Conservative, objected to the invitation to Mr. Kunstler and resigned from the bar association during the year that Mr. Liotti was president.
The dispute escalated in 1993, when Mr. Liotti sent a letter to Judge Mogil's supervisors saying that the judge was ''inappropriately enamored with guns'' and that he showed ''evidence of a psychological break.''
Judge Mogil is said to have sent Mr. Liotti a series of anonymous faxes and letters, bearing decals of American flags, leprechauns and Tasmanian Devil cartoons.
One addressed Mr. Liotti as donkey excrement. Another, with the headline ''The Liotti Gazette,'' had fake articles accusing the lawyer of child abuse and tax evasion.
I guess this “judge” didn’t hear about the 63 licenses the 9/11 hijackers held.

Thomas F. Liotti at a Glance
Member of:
Past President of the Columbian Lawyers’ Association of Nassau County and recipient of their Distinguished Service Award, the first trial lawyer to receive it; Past President of the Criminal Courts Bar Association of Nassau County; Past President of the New York State Association of Criminal Defense Lawyers; Immediate Past Chair of the New York State Bar Association Criminal Justice Section; Past Chair of the Civil Rights Committee of the Bar Association of Nassau County and former Chairman of the Board of the Nassau Lawyers Association.
Special distinctions or accomplishments:
Over 100 law review and legal articles published; 30 reported decisions and three books. Longest decision ever published by a Village or Town Justice in New York (109 pages).
It would be poetic justice if Liotti or one of his family were killed by a drunk illegal driver, as so many families have experienced in our country.
The gall of judges who make up their own laws to fit their politics is sickening. This is definitely not how our country was supposed to function.
