WTF??? This ‘judge’ needs to be removed NOW.
Well now---that explains it.
Guy wants illegals licensed to facilitate clients' drug delivery businesses. Drug lords with cars would be faster than bicycles.....and cars have trunks for the really big drug deals.
Hillary rues the day she posed for that pic.
Conservatives are going to have to get serious about getting involved in government, the media, university professorships and teaching unless they want the country and liberty to go straight down the toilet and into the control of the socialists and Islamofascists who all hate us and our way of life.
Re-open the discussion(?) and get 1 judge and 1 gov. thrown in prison@!! Hopefully!!
Thomas Liotti gets a lot of hits on google. He is not a shrinking violet
He should be removed from the bench for aspirations of grandeur. He fancies himself a dictator, better than the people, and he will force his views down their throats to prove it.
Village Justice Court
Thomas F. Liotti - Village Justice:
Thomas F. Liotti - Village Justice |
Justice Thomas F. Liotti was first elected to serve as the Justice for the Village of Westbury in 1991. As such, Judge Liotti heads the Village Justice Court. A distinguished magistrate, Judge Liotti has proudly introduced and directed the development of a new pro se litigant handbook - thought to be the first of its kind in any village court.
Your remedy is interesting in view of your tag line.
The dispute between Judge Mogil, 46, a lifetime member of the National Rifle Association who is said to have carried a gun in court, and Mr. Liotti, 48, a part-time village justice, began in 1991, when Mr. Liotti, as president of the Nassau County Criminal Courts Bar Association, invited William M. Kunstler, the lawyer, who died last year, to address the group.
Judge Mogil, who had been elected to the bench in 1986 as a Conservative, objected to the invitation to Mr. Kunstler and resigned from the bar association during the year that Mr. Liotti was president.
The dispute escalated in 1993, when Mr. Liotti sent a letter to Judge Mogil's supervisors saying that the judge was ''inappropriately enamored with guns'' and that he showed ''evidence of a psychological break.''
Judge Mogil is said to have sent Mr. Liotti a series of anonymous faxes and letters, bearing decals of American flags, leprechauns and Tasmanian Devil cartoons.
One addressed Mr. Liotti as donkey excrement. Another, with the headline ''The Liotti Gazette,'' had fake articles accusing the lawyer of child abuse and tax evasion.
I guess this “judge” didn’t hear about the 63 licenses the 9/11 hijackers held.
Amen! Someone should remind him --and others of his ilk -- that it's not a court of justice but a court of law. And under the law that driver was guilty.

It would be poetic justice if Liotti or one of his family were killed by a drunk illegal driver, as so many families have experienced in our country.
The gall of judges who make up their own laws to fit their politics is sickening. This is definitely not how our country was supposed to function.
More than a decade ago, a long-simmering disagreement over a bar association speeking invitation extended to civil rights attorney William Kunstler led former Nassau County Judge Marc Mogil to send a torrent of threatening letters to a defense attorney, ultimately costing him his robe, gavel and law license.
Now the ex-judge wants to practice law again but the target of his letter campaign - attorney Thomas Liotti of Garden City - is determined to prevent it.
“This guy is absolutely dangerous and should not practice law or represent people,” Liotti said.
On Oct. 4, Mogil filed a motion for reinstatement as a lawyer with the Appellate Division of state Supreme Court.
Mogil was elected to the District Court bench in 1986 and to the County Court in 1990. He was removed Oct. 15, 1996, by the Court of Appeals which called his conduct in the matter with Liotti “offensive, harassing and vindictive.”

Impeach this scumbag now.
By that standard, illegals should be able to practice as lawyers before him without passing the bar, since they are not eligible to do so.
The law is the law and the moronic judge sought to circumvent the law. He should be impeached and removed from office.
