I’ve resigned from the Broken Glass Republican Club. If I have to vote for a Republican Socialist or a Democratic Socialist, I will not vote for either.

Folks, here’s a new flash, ThomsponsHuckster’s not even going to become my Homeowner’s Associate president, it’s time to get over it ...

No charge for the repairs. Merry Christmas!

Huckabee or one of the Democrats, what a sickening choice. I do my duty and vote, but it would be a write in.

Huckabee wouldn’t win the election. He would be a disaster as nominee. Plus, he was a big spending and tax raising governor and makes remarks proper to the Democrats.

IF Huckabee wins I will probably vote third party for the first time in my life.

I rate the candidates like this :
Definately Vote For : Fred Thompson

Hold my nose and Vote : Willard

Vomit profusely, then hold my nose and vote, but stab myself in the leg repeatedly with a rusty fork afterward as punishment : ROOTY

Might vote if he names a strong conservative as VP, and gives one hell of a list of names for cabinet positions : McManiac

NEVER EVER EVER EVER EVER IN A MILLION YEARS: Mike "the pubby Jimmy Carter" Hucksterbee. I would rather suffer through four years of Dem control than to ever vote this disaster into office - he would destroy the chances of the Republican party for decades.

No, we don’t all have our “I’ll stay home” candidate. Some of us recognize that a vote not cast in protest is, in effect, a vote FOR one’s least favorite candidate.

If Clinton wins the Democratic nomination, will you still sit out?

I wouldn't... but between Her and Huck, I'd go third party. If Hillary wins, the nation will probably race to the right again, as they did in 1994 (and it lasted for 4 House election cycles). An extremist Dem president against two GOP Houses is far better than a pliable, weak GOP president and a hard-left Congress.

The Huckster is coming close to making me feel the same and if Obama is the Dem's choice I might just do it.

The only Pub candidate I won't vote for right now, though, Paul, but he doesn't have a shot at getting the nomination.

I respect your decision to sit it out, even if it means 4 years of Obama or the Beast.

Sometimes elections must be sacrificed to save a party.

What we should wish for is Huckabee knocking off Romney in Iowa and Mc Cain knock off Romney in New Hampshire. Then this whole thing becomes a jump ball.

While I do not want Huck to get the nomination, I will proudly support the Republican candidate. The alternative is too scary to even contemplate.

I agree with your list & your category descriptions (ROFL on the rusty fork), except I would swap Giuliani and McCain, and I would add ElRon Paul to the NEVER EVER EVER IN A MILLION YEARS category.

If Huckabee wins Iowa and Mc Cain wins New Hampshire, I don’t think the Republican nominee will be decided until they get to the convention with no candidate having a majority of the votes needed.
