I know that this thread will get hijacked (should I use that word?) by the anti airport screener crowd, but Oh well! In the midst of all that can someone answer my question?

I just wonder what the TSO is. I’ve heard of the TSA, but I don’t know if they are related.

I think you also have to pass a "whiz quiz."

It is my understanding this disqualifies many Democrats.

Know your word meanings. How to spell. And be able to pick out things hidden behind other things in a photo.

And keep in mind that my advice isnt worth a dam because they have several tests they use. So you most likely will get a test completely opposite than the test I took.

I took it and didn't pass. It has been awhile. All I an remember is that part of it involves looking at fake x-rays and trying to determine if there is some kind of weapon show in them.

I imagine the rest of it was like any other civil servant test for which you can get books out of the library to practice for it.

They might even have a book specifically for the TSO test at the library

Multiple Guess Question 2:

Please select ONLY America’s Founding Fathers (there is only one right answer):

a) Thomas Jefferson

b) Bill Clinton

c) George Washington

d) Alexander Hamilton

(Note to test administrator, if the person who answers this question even KNOWS who anyone but Bill Clinton is, they are part of a dangerous, radical, separatist group. Quietly turn their test into the Homeland Security office for careful scrutiny and monitoring).

You may be expected to bring your own shoes.

For God's sake don't wear them, but show up holding them in your hand.

And you'll want some small plastic bottles in a 1 quart zip-lock bag.

Present them to the guard at the door who will throw them in the trash before letting you into the test.

Oh, and bring a nasty attitude. The TSA admires that in their screeners.

No search, CAIR might get upset.

Search and detain, could be clever disguise.

No need to confiscate, the electronics will not interfere with airplane systems.

Confiscate, make them wait for the drink cart.
