“Now he lectures on healthy living!”

The rest of his family isn’t listening....

I pulled the plug on your 118 post. I’ve never done that before. You don’t belong on this forum.

Plutarch’s Weblog December 11, 2007 Mike Huckabee’s weight loss scam

I have just read this in its entirety and it is very compelling. Compelling to the point of certainty.

Des Moines Radio WHO 1040AM afternoon host Steve Deace (who admits he spent his pre-born-again-Christian life downloading porn) has been hawking Huckabee as the answer for "values voters".

This term must exclude those value voters who value truth.

Huckabee was on the wrong side of the recent "immigration reform" coup attempt, yet now talks like a border hawk.

His public statements indicate he wishes us to not believe he elected bariatric surgery, yet overwhelming evidence indicates he did.

He pardoned a dangerous criminal who then murdered, yet he is not to be held responsible.

Mike Huckabee does not evince that shining scruple we would expect of one called to defend this shining city on the hill against a jihadi nuclear attack.

If the Republicans make him their candidate, how fast do you think Clinton, Inc. will put the proof of Huckabee's surgery on the radio every half hour, on every cable news show, every Sunday show, all the print media, and six consecutive issues of National Enquirer.

I have read that thread. I can’t believe he would even lie (and write a book based on his lie) about that, too. Huckabee is dangerous: he lies about ridiculous things. He obviously has absolutely no conscientiousness at all.

I’m concluding he’s an amoral typical Elmer Gantry. His mask is folksy charm instead of fire and brimstone preaching, but he’s just as big a liar.

The only way his family can copy his weight loss is to follow him to the surgeon.

“Your condemnation of Mormons is a particularly ugly bigotry. Have you ever lived around Mormons?”

It wasn’t a condemnation as much as a statement of fact. Mormonisn is a perversion of Christianity. It is not remotely true Christianity in its teaching and theology. It is in many ways, much worse than open disbelief or occultism. Why? Because it looks “good” to the unlearned as you point out with your glowing descriptions of them. That makes it “Chocolate covered poison.” A much more insidious danger to the individual.

I have relatives that are mormon. I am fully aware of their “nice” appearances. It is a facade, they are just people like everyone else and just a prone to the same mistakes. There are severe “eternal” consequences to mormon belief, and I don’t want a POTUS that is a showpiece for them. Better outright disbelief than a false one.

Do I think individual mormons are evil? No, of course not, no more than myself or any other human walking this planet. My argument isn’t with individual mormons, my problem is with Mormonism or any other cult (a perversion of Biblical Christianity - the THEOLOGY not appearances of behavior). Being merely “good” never has nor never will please God. You must come before Him with a belief correct both in Spirit and Truth.

In truth, their are persons on this forum much better qualified in both knowledge and more importantly temperment to explain this problem. I will differ to them. I’m too harsh in the way I state things at times.

Well, good for you. And better that you publically stated you are responsible. However, I ask you this...Do you equally think that posts the liken Mike Huckabee to Elmer Gantry, a Snake Oil Salesman, or make fun of his family for being overweight belong on this forum???? If you don’t equally oppose such things...then you are a hypocrit sir.

Whatever, I’m still here. You should have let Jim Robinson decide, not a moderator.

Let me be clear again. A vote for Governor Romney is, in essence, a vote that helps promote mormonisn (a perversion of Christianity). A vote for Mayor Guiliani is a vote for the promotion of sexual perversion (adultery & homosexuality).

I have nothing serious against Thompson and am not thrilled with Romney.

But a Romney victory (likely) and Thompson loss (certain) should at least shut you up for a while. I’m looking forward to that.

A Giuliani vote is for the Gaystapo...

I'll vote for "Bullwinkle" before any of the above...

Some of us are going to be in a real bind if the general election comes down to Senator Clinton vs. Mayor Guiliani. I personally find both candidates equally reprehensible. I don’t want to make statements I might have to break later, but I would be inclined, at this point, to leave the ballot blank on that particular vote.

Well if Huckabee is lying, (odds are he isn’t because even Oprah had a huge weight loss when she went on the liquid diet), he will never ever get the nod.

But for you to spout off about how he lost his weight, with zero facts, shows you for what you are.

An insane Mittwitt. Seriously, you people are nuts.

I am feeling better all the time. Fred is staying in the 10-15% range so should do well in the real vote.

The bigger tale here however will be Mitt and his ROI...
