“How can I say he is full of bovine excrement and still be civil?”

I think you just accomplished that objective :)

Sorry I was wrong about the person sitting in for Rush. I had heard that it was going to be Mark Billings who is a strong Fred supporter. Turns out that Jason Lewis is doing great talking about Fred! GO FRED! Great calls about Fred coming in too! :)

Rush’s days with us are limited because of his hearing I’m afraid. Why should he continue with the money he has?

Jason seems to be very close to his politics.

Merry Christmas!

IMHO Rush will stay until his mind starts to go.

Speaking as a recovering DJ myself...Rush thinks like all of us do...with the unstability of our chosen profession...the money could dry up tomorow.

Old habits die hard.

What I am hearing from him is, “Shut up and vote Republican!”

Eeevil Conservative had to deal with that a year ago. I think it was her Republican congressman whom she was holding his feet to the fire about a couple issues.

He retorted, “If you don’t support me, you’re no Republican!”

She responded, “You’re right. I’m a CONSERVATIVE!”

Thompson is not placed among the top candidates in many polls, which is probably because of his late start, so of the MSM touted leaders...Frudy, McCain, and Romney...Huck is more appealing than two libs and a Massachusetts’ governor.

As compared to Hannity which is full throttle pro-Rudy. Heck even Mark Samone was all over the Rudy Monday.

You must be kidding. Rush will leave the microphone when he's dragged out in a box. There are things you do because you love doing them. He clearly loves what he does and has stated it himself. He won't leave the mic until "everyone agrees with me".

I liked Huggabee before he wanted to close Gitmo because of world opinion.

What kind of responsible foreign policy is that?

Why should he continue(to work) with the money he has?

because he's fullfilling his life long dream, loves his job and is happy doing what he does best?

Gotta luv the Drive-bys. The top of the hour news reader had back to back economic stories:

1 - Market down because of poor retail sales.

2 - Retail sales driven higher than 2006 because of last minute purchases, but still lower than "expected".

I won’t pretend to know what is in Rush’s heart. I’m just making assumptions based on his hearing. Seems like he has struggled of late.

Very true, if you listened to the drive by doom and gloomers you'd swear we were in a depression. Home sales are the worst since the twenties, CHRISTMAS holiday sales are only up slightly due to gas prices and of course the war, but the good news is Hillerrry has overtaken Oprah in most respected wimmen in America. By the way, according to Crissy Mathews if Barack loses in Iowa he's probably finito bambito, however if the princess loses, it will only be a small pea in her saddle.
