If Huckabee’s lips are moving, he’s lying.

As I’ve said here many times, “Huckabee is running against his own party.”

Ok let us examine Hucka-speak...

Get rid of Personal Income tax, corporate tax, death tax.
You add up all those taxes and that is TRILLIONS of dollars.
Now do some Hucka-math and come up with a sales tax to cover
all those Trillions of dollars. I have heard as high as 40%.
So everything you buy now will cost 30 to 40% more.

Next commute all those convicted criminals who have repented
their crimes. That will save a huge amount on prisons. But
you will have to deal with all these felons walking the streets. But that is what a good christian preacher would do.

Next allow illegals to acquire tax funded education. That is
what a good christian country should do! Except Huck will spend
your money not his.

Next healthcare for illegals. We are a better country than preventing
taxpayer funded healthcare for all human beings. That is what
a good christian would do. EXCEPT it is again your money not his.

I think you get my drift....we have been huckstered!!

No, Mr. Hewitt.

America (and the GOP) really do need to stop pandering to multi-national and globalizt economic manipulators.

We are not a "capitalist" nation, per se. We are a free nation. Domination of Americans by those who use economic power in order to create artificially manipulated economies slanted in their favor is akin to fascism -- and when that is supportted by government, it actually is the economic definition of fascism.

Our "originalist" America is a healthily nationalist nation, where government governs taxing and tariffs, and trade, to assure that it is in America's interest.

Wholistic benefits of globalism are a lie. Just look at the economic bring-down we've been suffering for transplanting manufacturing to other nations and to flooding America with illegal aliens.

Or, do you just call that "employee productivity" along with the crooks?

Challenging the party’s power axis hardly constitutes blasting the entire party, and Hewitt’s assertion that the party doesn’t need changing—immediately followed by a long list of ways it needs to change—is ridiculous.

Huckabee is not a democrat and he’s not a RINO.

Huckabee is... THE MOTHER of ALL RINO’s

ANN COULTER: LIBERALS SING ‘HUCKELUJAH’

http://www.freerepublic.com/focus/f-news/1944500/posts

“All I want for Christmas is for Christians to listen to what Mike Huckabee says, rather than what the media say about him. The mainstream media keep flogging Huckabee for being a Christian, apparently unaware that this “God” fellow is testing through the roof in focus groups.

Huckabee is a “compassionate conservative” only in the sense that calling him a conservative is being compassionate.

In a widely quoted remark, Huckabee denounced a Republican bill that would merely require proof of citizenship to vote and receive government benefits as “un-Christian, un-American, irresponsible and anti-life,” according to the Arkansas News Bureau. Now, where have I heard this sort of thing before? Hmmm ... wait, now I remember: It was during the Democratic debates! “

Chuckle-bee. One a day keeps you in laughs for life.

I actually have a hard time believing that anyone outside the media thinks this guy is a real viable candidate for the Presidents job. I think he is an apparition, a repository for identity politics and those seeking same.

I’m with Fred, the true conservative.

Huckabee is a dildo. They're ALL dildoes. This election cycle is a big circle-jerk.

Isn't there ANYONE in this frigging country who knows how to LEAD!?

"Mike Huckabee will never rally the GOP base to his standard given his populist rhetoric --the sort of nonsense that President Bush and every GOP nominee since Reagan has blasted away at."

One man can "lead" this country and that man is Fred Dalton Thompson!

OK, so I’m confused. How could so many in this thread attack Huckabee (no, I’m NOT a supporter of his; still checking them all out...) for his support of the Fair Tax/NRST? What on earth is “left wing” or “liberal” about that????

“...if you close your eyes, you would think a Democrat was speaking.”

When you open your eyes, you know a Democrat is speaking. Is there a single regular Freeper, not counting Huckster plants, that still supports this fraud.

From the start, I had a bad feeling about this guy. And as time goes on, that is being confirmed.

There was the thing with his son, who hung a dog from a tree, slit its throat and stoned it to death... Then Huckabee used his power to pressure the state police to not cooperate with an investigation.
http://www.newsweek.com/id/78241

Huckabee's morbid remark that other candidates should consider slitting their wrists with razor blades in a tub of warm water.
http://www2.arkansasonline.com/news/2007/oct/10/huckabee-has-used-razor-blades-line/

Lying about the cross in his ad being intentional. (There's nothing wrong for him to have a cross in the ad. But just be up front about it, instead of denying it)

And the latest- more joking about killing... Yes, he was joking, but still this is creepy imo, for someone who puts himself forward as the 'Christian' candidate.
"If you vote for me you live, if you don't..."

I don’t understand why people even consider Huckabee to be a social conservative. He’s supposedly pro-life, but he’s taken money from one of the largest embryonic stem cell companies on the planet. He’s supposedly anti-gay marriage, but says there’s “probably” a right to sodomy in the Constitution. That leaves the Second Amendment, where, during his big “I heart guns” photo op he joked about shooting his opponents. Not helpful in promoting gun ownership.

Why are socons falling for this faker?

The only question I have about Huckabee at this point is what won’t he say in the attempt to win the nomination?

And that folks, is why I won’t support him.

First Rush, now the whole GOP.

Someone get this guy a copy of "How to Win Friends and Influence People". I get the feeling he needs a bit of brushing up on that.
