Until now you have asked for nothing in My name; ask and you will receive, so that your joy may be made full.
John 16:24
We pray this day for our President and believe that the work You have begun in him You will complete until the day of Christ Jesus. Order his steps, the words of his mouth, the decisions he makes and the people with whom he will have contact. Give him the grace and love of God to deal with every person that comes across his path. We ask You for the protection of his entire family from every form of destruction.
For our defenders of freedom we ask for the ability to see what the enemy is doing and where they are hiding. Let there be nothing hidden that wont come to the light. Let Your peace rule and reign in their hearts as they learn more and more of Your goodness.
Help us, Father, to lift Jesus higher so that men may be drawn unto Him. Call forth Your equipped and motivated army to take this land for Jesus Christ.
In His name we pray. Amen.
Amen.
Come and pray.
Amen!
Calling for urgent and fervent prayer for the tense situation unfolding in Pakistan right now.

READ: Joshua 4:1-9
These stones shall be for a memorial to the children of Israel forever. Joshua 4:7
In her book The Shelter of Each Other, Mary Pipher gives advice on rebuilding troubled families. She explores how todays children sometimes overuse TV and video games to the exclusion of informal instruction received from extended family.
She gives an example of a family reunion where the youngsters are given a video to watch in the back room so the adults can talk undisturbed. Dr. Pipher believes this diversion actually deprives kids. Children need to mix with the older generation so they can hear the stories of aunts, uncles, grandparents, and parents. This helps them learn from those who have gone before them.
The Old Testament places a high value on children being taught their spiritual heritage. After God parted the waters of the Jordan River, Joshua was instructed to take 12 stones from the river to create a memorial for future generations. When your children ask . . . What do these stones mean to you? then you shall answer them that the waters of the Jordan were cut off. . . . And these stones shall be for a memorial to the children of Israel forever (Josh. 4:6-7).
We need spiritual interaction between generations. Remember, Bible stories are often family stories. And our children need them and us.
O Lord my God, Thou has Made Thy Wonderful Works So Many,
That None can Count in Order to Thee Thy Thoughts Toward us:
I would Declare and Speak of them,
But they are More than I am Able to Express. (Ps.40:5)
Amen to your thoughtful prayer, Hiskid. God bless George W. Bush!
Amen to your beautiful prayer.
Amen, thank you Hiskid. Praying for the situ in Pakistan, and also for our troops in the ME and around the world. And prayers especially for all those who don’t know the truth yet; these would be hopeless times without knowing the Hope we have.
Amen.
I join in prayer for President Bush, the Administration and our heroes standing in harm’s way!
