Exactly. We must have a President that understands, and will never back down from the IslamoFascists trying to take over the world!!
I thought the same thing as I was watching McCain discuss the issue. It definitely gives him a one-up on many of the other candidates (even though I’m not a McCain supporter, he looked “presidential” and “in control” of the situation when discussing the repercussions.)
God forbid if Rooty gets the nomination, the NYPD and NYFD are going to make him wished he faked his Vietnam experience like Kerry.
Rudy’s statement (I listened to him on the idiot box) revealed a subtle misunderstanding of the issue. He said something about Bhutto’s “murderers”. She was assassinated - a higher crime, if you will. Rudy has the same trouble distinguishing between terrorists and criminals - they both violate civilization’s rules, but they are not equal.
I wondered who would write the first ‘small ball’ column about Bhutto’s assasination. Not surprised its somebody with the WaPo.
Forget our election cycle for the time being, folks.
We’re very close to seeing India intervene, our troops trying to secure the Pakistan nuclear weapons, a Civil War, and the very real possibility of a nuclear exchange between India and Pakistan, depending on who maintains control throughout this event in Pakistan.
Guiliani? You gotta be kidding me.
I can’t believe ANYONE is worried, or even interested in his candidacy as it relates to this emergency situation on the other side of the planet. Talk about navel gazing.....
I’m sure hardly any of the American electorate will remember past the media’s broadcast of her funeral what happened in Pakistan. I don’t think it will have any impact whatsoever.
Sure. Guiliani most. Rudy has the most serious, honest read on the terror of Islam.
I hope Secretary Rice gets a good piano playing gig soon .
And to think everyone thought Fred Thompson is too old and tired to run for President.
We don’t need a CIC, we need a vice-free saint!
His track record as mayor of New York City was a perfect case in point.
Giuliani actually had to deal with a terrorist attack in New York City before 9/11 -- the 1997 multiple shooting at the Empire State Building by a Palestinian terrorist. Giuliani never used the word "terrorism" or "terrorist" to describe that attack. Instead, he zeroed in on that incident as a gun problem, AND IMMEDIATELY ADOPTED IT AS PART OF HIS PATHOLOGICAL ANTI-GUN CRUSADE.
I would also add that why wouldn’t this help McCain as much as Rooty (if it helps Rooty at all). The guy has NO foreign policy experience whatsoever. I never understand the Rooty frooty tough on terror business. His clients were terrorists for goodness sake.
L0L!
Nah, the MSM will just conveniently ignore it.
Now if President Bush had made the same mistake, it would be talked about for days.
Exactly.
Just as in the 'Phony Soldier' issue a while back, or Kerry as the 'Phony War Hero', Rooty will be outed as the 'Phony 9/11 Hero'.
And if there was one 'Hero of 9/11' it was Don Rumsfeld. I saw him helping the wounded - and DEAD - not parading around in a Police Cap & Jacket looking for a camera.
And why the hell does any Mayor adorn a Police Cap & Jacket anyway???? That was utterly childish on Rooty's part.
Flyover country won’t vote for Rootie and he acts as if he prefers we didn’t anyway.
Good lord -- how leftist American that statement is. It probably never occurs to any of them that someone might actually have more than two kids.
Not with me.
