I’m sure Bush will suddenly turn into Al Gore. Hey, MSNBC said so, right?

Bush's views have evolved. He has found the science increasingly persuasive and believes more needs to be done, especially after a set of secret briefings last winter. Secret meetings? Is this a joke? lol...

I’d like to dump this entire government, all government agencies, all amendments to the constitution, and reinstate a representative republic. Who’s with me?
Ok great. Too bad that’s as far as it’s going to get till people start waking up.

Just how big became clear after Bush took office. Amid rolling blackouts in California, Vice President Cheney pushed Bush to abandon a campaign pledge to impose mandatory reductions on carbon emissions from power plants. Summoned to the Oval Office in March 2001, Christine Todd Whitman, then head of the Environmental Protection Agency, braced to argue, but Bush had made up his mind. As she left, she saw Cheney picking up a letter already signed by Bush announcing the decision.Apparently Bush has been a greenie all along.

Evidence of the eyes. I was in DC last week and there are garden flowers blooming.
I have no knowledge of whether the climate variations I personally see are man made or not, but there seems to be a warming trend most of us can observe first hand.
Doesn’t matter whodunnit. All that I care about is trying to figger out the best actions to take and over what timeline.

The Pres has always said there is no hurry to make these decisions. He might even procrastinate so long he will be home on the farm before anything is done. It’s a politician’s solution.

Yep. Anything beyond two years pretty much does it.

Or maybe one wakes up to the glorious opportunity of being able to pick pocket and control the American people and have to show absolutely nothing for it: do nothing, prove nothing, change nothing. It’s a win-win no matter what the climate does; perfect con game. Not much different than what Washington does now, just a different avenue.
