I understand how you feel, I am frustrated too but I love it here. Michigan, northern particularly, has so much to offer and some day I am confident we may make real progress. These problems will be everywhere eventually, and perhaps Michigan might be the first to dramatically deal with it. Just keep it up you liberals out there, because you are making your own defeat possible. Michigan is now the worst place to start or move a business. The economy is in the crapper, and the worse it gets the more notorious it becomes, and the more obvious the real problems are (like taxing and regulating the local economy into oblivion)and the more obvious the answer. Like removing anyone from either party, but particularly the Dems, who vote in such a way as has produced this result. So the worse it gets, the better for our social conscience to gravitate towards conservatism, and like a phoenix from the flames, Michigan just might be the example of liberal defeat and conservative economic and social success some day. And the sooner the better. Our governor is largely the problem, but the legislature must also change.

Maybe the “Blockers” should have accidents. After a couple end up missing and under a peat bog, they’ll learn that those “Blockers” are better off left out of the thing.

Well,I wouldn’t suggest breaking the law, or even infringing on other American’s rights. Just sic some lawyer types on these Nazi’s who want to deny me my political rights.

State House Democrats plan to use "blockers" against the recall petitioners. One Democrat, unnamed in media reports, says the plan is to "shadow" or "follow" those who circulate the petition and "have a debate with each potential signer in an attempt to convince them not to sign the recalls." In other words, a campaign of stalking and voter intimidation.
Videocameras and YouTube are our friends.

Thanks Larry
I'm in Macomb county and to be honest with you this is the first I've heard of any recall activity.
I'm going to contact Candice Miller's office here and see what info they can provide. Since I'm now retired with time on my hands, I can certainly hang out around the shopping centers here and try to get petitions signed........
Interesting info about my county clerk, she needs to be booted out too.........

This state is bought & paid for by the uaw.
Then you wonder why a car & truck costs so much, they have their own state to run....

The ten targeted solons come from both parties. Prior to their fateful votes to raise taxes against their constituent wishes, taxpayer groups repeatedly warned them that a recall effort would be launched against them if they voted for the $1.6 billion dollar tax increase. And yet, a few months ago, vote for the tax boost they did. And it passed, adding yet more depressive burden to the state's lingering recession.
Hey, vote for Hillary in 2008, she'll take more money away from you for your own good.

Personally, I would tell that guy to go f- himself.
I am giving up swearing as of Jan 2, 2008
I will probably have to resort to hand gestures
Then that will go next year and I will become a lost soul

(Muskegon County Clerk Karen Buie, a Republican, agreed, saying, “The average citizen would not understand.”)
Or the average citizen wouldn’t care.
