Without any links, this post is nothing but a rumor.
Get real.

This poll was taken before the Huckabee disaster this afternoon.
The only Iowa poll that matters is the one taking place 72 hours from now around the state of Iowa.

“On McCain’s heels in the poll at 9 percent each are Texas Rep. Ron Paul, whose support in Iowa has gradually been building, and former Tennessee Sen. Fred Thompson.”
Ouch!
I certainly hope Fred triples his numbers on the 3rd.

Do Republicans get a “second vote” the way Democrats do? Do Republican candidates have the same 15% minimum, like the Democrats?

No, there is no viability threshold in the Rep caucuses.
To: mcjordansc
So it’s a single vote for the Repubs and that’s the end of it?
To: samtheman
Well, they get the vote on a candidate, plus they select delegates to the county conventions based on vote distribution and they vote on platform items.

I am not sure Huckabee voters see this as a disaster. I have talked to family back in Iowa and even though they are not all Huckabee people, they look at this afternoon as Huckabee pulling back from the abyss at the last minute. He is getting credit for taking the high road (like it or not).
To: elizabetty
Aint it great when you not only have to specify what day but also what time when differentiating between Huckabee disasters ?
