WENATCHEE -- A 29-year-old Wenatchee man told police a pterodactyl caused him to drive his car into a light pole about 11:30 p.m. Thursday.

Wenatchee police cited the man with first-degree negligent driving. A breathalyzer test showed "a minimal amount of alcohol," said Wenatchee police Sgt. Cherie Smith. ...

When police asked the man what caused the accident, his one-word answer was "pterodactyl," Smith said. A pterodactyl was a giant winged reptile that lived more than 65 million years ago.

Just last night I caught a Monsterquest called “Birdzilla” and it had people from all over claiming to see giant pterosaur-type birds.

I would say that this feller picked a bad week to quit doing what ever he was doing that made him see a Pterodactyl or a huge flying moonbat.

“Hint to law enforcement:

It wasn’t alcohol.”

Police report: When asked if the suspect had consumed any alchoholic beverages He replied, “No dude, but I consumed 37 Green label Monster drinks in as many minutes because a friend dared me to.”

This happened in a Stargate SG1 episode where SG1 brings a device that makes normally invisible extra-dimensional beings visible to infected people.

I saw a gigantic bird flying low over a neighborhood in Waco about 8 years ago. It stopped briefly on a tree in a friend’s backyard and looked prehistoric to me. It was unreasonably huge, and as it flew off slowly it cast a shadow that darkened the house -— and of course that was before I had a digital camera.

This is all related somehow to the drunk’s unresolved Oedipal complex.

“There is a fella that has a remote controlled pterodactyl. Wonder if he was out causing some mischief. I don’t know where he’s located, though.”

It’s that damn Professor Falken! He still lives somewhere out in Idaho, and he doesn’t want to be bothered!
