He has my morals and values. He has a positive energy to him. I think Huckabee is our best chance to win in November. I think some people (not a majority) within the Republican party dislike him because he is a minister. and that is sad.

I think we need a strong Christian President.

Hucksters only see it if it looks religious-y. so you have to gospel it up a bit....

... and so El Rusbo spoke unto the masses and uttered,
“How dare you compare Mike Huckabee to Ronald Reagan!”
whereupon the masses trembled in fear of their error...

God, how I'd love to see Flip Romney finish third or below.

Come on, Iowans! Do your duty!

I don’t have a problem voting for a Christian president (I voted for GWB twice). What I have a big problem with is if that Christian wraps himself in the label as a reason to vote for him and pretends he is above anyone questioning his past positions (which are liberal). Which is why I will never vote for him.

I heard because of the way Dems have things set up, the primaries aren’t nearly as important as people make them out to be. Something about “super delegates”

I do not think Huckabee has done anything wrong. He is being honest about his faith. Everyone should be honest and open about their faith in God.

I hope Fred or a rep is speaking there tonight.

They should have been able to announce that by now. Every other top polling candidate has a rep there.

Huckabee has too many nanny state values to be viable.

He is 110% defeatable.

He is EASY to defeat as the goober from hope. Hillary only has to run against huckster as a surrogate for clinton. A nanny state big taxer who can be hung out with the anti-walmart sentiment.

Who is better though ?

Romney is slippery. Thompson looks sleepy. Rudy supports abortion. I like Duncan Hunter, but he does not have a legit chance.

Huckabee has an awesome personality. I think people are still underestimating him.

and he wants to shut down the IRS. Thats a winner.

I don’t like Huckabee because he’s going to raise my taxes, and use the money to provide scholarships for illegal immigrants.

Thanks. I don’t agree with you at all, but I appreciate your position.

As Rush said about five posts up, “you can love your guy, just don’t call him Conservative...”

I don’t think any of the candidates haven’t been honest and open about their faith in God. However, Huckabee, unlike the rest of them, is using it as the basis for voting for him and then plays the victim when people actually criticize his Gubnatorial record.

Sorry, but I’ll vote for virtually anyone but Huckabee.
