I have two handguns, two shot guns, three semi-automtic assault rifles and a couple of hunting rifles. Ammo for all. I also have at least six very nice Kabar and Old Henry knives.

Guess I am next on the list.

Oh yes, I forgot to say that I live in Idaho and most of my neighbors have more than I do...hehehe. Gotta love it.

This can't be, he was a convicted felon. You also need to pay special license fees and get a background check to buy a fully automatic machine gun.

Oh my, gun control laws must not be working! Obviously, if existing gun control laws aren't working, then the only "logical" solution is that we need more gun control laws, as the new ones will surely work better than the old ones! (/sarcasm)

Suwei Chuang, 36, was arrested last night after officers spotted him carrying a AR-15 assault rifle in Flushing.

Wanna bet it wasn't a real assault rifle, per DoD definition?

Still that would tend to get their attention, when it wasn't wanted, I'm sure. :)

Police found a fully-loaded machine gun, assault rifles,

Real assault rifles are machine guns. Clueless presstitudes!

Or are they just pushing the latest boogy man? You don't hear "assault weapon" much any more, they've appropriated the perfectly well defined term "assault rifle" and changed the definition, without saying they've done it.

Bastids!

It is not clear how Chuang obtained the weapons.

The gun fairy perhaps?

Police found a fully-loaded machine gun, assault rifles, shot guns, handguns, more than 29,000 rounds, gas masks, and police radios among other illegal items in his car and apartment.

They'd have $h!t if they had raided my house. That is if there were any of them left.

The ending of the story changes when you read from the NY Sun's regular webpage version to the printer friendly version.

NY Sun's regular webpage version: After arresting him, police searched Mr. Chuang's home at 135-11 40th Road, where they said they found an arsenal that included at least nine guns, including an automatic machine gun and 20,000 rounds of assorted ammunition, along with 40 large combat knives, bullet proof vests, and six police-type radios.

Mr. Chuang is being charged with criminal possession of a weapon. It was unclear if he had a lawyer representing him. Police said they had no information about the reason Mr. Chuang had collected the weapons.

The NY Sun's printer friendly version: After arresting him, police then searched Mr. Chuang's home, at 135-11 40th Road, where they said they found an arsenal that included at least nine guns, including an automatic machine gun and a Glock handgun stolen from upstate. Also found were more than 28,000 rounds of assorted ammunition, 40 large combat knives, bulletproof vests, and six police-type radios.

The commanding officer of the Organized Crime Investigation Division, Inspector Brian O'Neill, said police were investigating whether he was selling guns out of his home.

"There weren't any price tags on them," he said, but added: "We are looking at the idea that he may have been dealing in these firearms."

Police said it appeared Mr. Chuang is unemployed, although they said he was in the U.S. Army for three years. He has been charged with criminal possession of a weapon.

Arsenal found during arrest in Flushing Newsday has 11 pics for the story from a freelancer showing piles of hardware and ammo. I wasn't impressed. This story doesn't smell right. I won't be surprised if Bloomberg tries to make the most of it this weekend in Oklahoma.

Yahoo News had a total of 9 stories about Suwei Chuang
