RALEIGH, N.C. Rep. Thomas Wright pleaded not guilty Friday to six felony charges that accuse him of illegally obtaining or misusing more than $350,000 in campaign donations, loans and charitable money.
Wright's attorney, Douglas Harris, blamed many of his client's troubles on sloppy bookkeeping, not illegal activity. I thought this jackass already got convicted?
Must have been another Tarheel legislator.
Wilmington Democrat
Party affiliation mentioned in the FOURTH paragraph.

And they were tinted too!
His prescription probably needed to be updated anyway.
I’m sure.
I know I was dating myself with that Charles Nelson Reilly reference... can you tell I watched Hollywood Squares a lot when I was a kid? :)
NC ping, please...
I wondered why the article didn’t read “Rep. Thomas Wright (R., Wilmington).
We just LOVE this guy here in Wilmington!
We just LOVE this guy here in Wilmington!
And, apologies for the double-post. DOH!

Why? No mention of party affiliation.
Am I correct?
