I think that you are making dangerous assumptions. I am happy to see HildaB gone because in my view I would take any of the above over Hillary. Any. But she carried a lot of negtive baggage and may not have been electable. Obama v Huckabee and Obama I would put my money on Obama in the general election, particularly if he picks a good VP.

I agree with Rush — it’s all a set-up to make her look like a champion, overcoming incredible odds to win the White House, for the poor, for the women, for the children, for the soulless (oops, that one just snuck in there).
Okay. It’s probably really not all a set-up... but, honestly, would you put it past the RATS? I wouldn’t. They’ll do anything - literally, ANYTHING to win, and the Clintons feel as entitled to power as any third world dictator.

I can go back into other threads, but I don’t suggest that FReepers go back into the past, of thinking that Hillary Clinton is a worse threat than Barak Obama.
It’s looking like the people working with her on her campaign, knew what to expect. They front loaded the primaries because they knew that the more people saw of her the less they would vote for her. They tried to get it over and done with in a hurry.

Why do you assume that Barak Obama is unelectable? I think he’s highly electable, moreso than Hillary in fact. He doesn’t have a long track record to criticize, so you can project anything onto him.
