Fred's plan all along was to focus on South Carolina. A win there will help shut up the critics, but it won't be easy. I actually think a McCain loss and poor showing by Huckabee in NH will help Fred.

I’m hoping for a NH win by McCain, just to confuse the delegate count and muddy the waters. Go Fred in South Carolina!

Didn’t Fred just pick up 25% of the 12 delegates in WY? This is just as big as if he picked up 25% of the 12 delegates in NH.

It looks to me that with this election years crop of GOP candidates, Fred’s strategy of finishing in the 15% range for the first few might be a worthwhile strategy. However, that requires conserving cash and focusing the spending where you can get the best results long term.
Going to be an interesting year.

Go Fred! We need a little honesty.

Last nights debate bode well for 3 people imo, Fred, Rudy and Mitt. Does anyone notice in these debates how when Fred speaks the other candidates are all listening intently and respectfully? Its as if one might say to the other "hey be quite, Freds speaking."
I will say Fred, Rudy and Mitt, in that order seem to be the best candidates. If a prince of Saudi Arabia offered all the candidates 10 million I think all but Rudy and Fred would have taken it. That alone tells me where Rudys heart is and how he thinks concerning America. Fred is more conservative but if we're wanting to trust someones word, Huckabee, McCain are lacking and Romney has no core values so its hard to tell what he will do.

Funny thing is that here in SC I have not seen any Fred campaign messages, not tv, no radio, no signs....nothing! I saw the first Obama commercial here over the weekend and I saw the same commercial for him over and over again so he is making his presence known here in SC. The biggest push here that I have seen (and I am in the upstate of SC) has been from Ron Paul. His radio commercials have been playing here for about 6 months and his signs are up everywhere! I mean signs made on bed sheets, signs at the intersections, signs on fences, signs everywhere!! Other then him, I see a few Huckabee signs and hear a few commercials from time to time. I saw a few Hillary signs but those are few and far between in my area. Romney has a lot of support in my area, I see signs and hear his radio and tv ads.
But so far, I have yet to see ANY Fred

Fred's plan all along was to focus on South Carolina.Yes, and they shouldn't have let Iowa distract them from that focus. This is Fred's chance to get established.

SC will be big. I just hope the South doesn’t get conned by the preacher man.

Let’s hope for a win for McCain in NH. Thompson needs to take Huck OUT in SC.
Romney needs to be put on Fred’s slow track and let McCain do his dirty work for awhile.

McCain sold conservatives down the river with the illegal immigration/amnesty bill (WHICH HE WROTE) with Ted Kennedy and the disasterous McCain/Feingold “campaign finance reform” bill. I will not support him - period.
Thompson/Hunter in 2008!
