Former Teacher Charged For Inappropriate Photos

MOON TOWNSHIP (KDKA) ― Moon Township police say they have charged a former teacher in the Moon Area School District for allegedly sending inappropriate text messages and nude photos of herself to a teenager.
Investigators say 26-year-old Beth Ann Chester is facing several charges including endangering the welfare of children, corruption of minors and three counts of sexual abuse of children.
Police say they are shocked by the case.
"We investigate all kinds of crimes out here. In my history at the police department, this has never happened before," said Sgt. Alan Morrow, of the Moon Township police department. "You hear of it on the national news, happening in large cities. Well, it happened right here in our town."
Last week, police say Chester, a ninth grade physical education and health teacher, resigned from her job.
According to police, the school district has turned over Chester's computer to officials.
Also, investigators say they seized a cell phone from the teen, a 14-year-old male student.
Chester is in being held in jail on $50,000 cash bond.

Most parents do not care. They want to be the cool buddy and not a parent.

It’s not that big of a deal but it would nice if people put the name of the state in parenthesis at the end of the title of these local stories.
It’s been suggested many times. I’m suggesting it again.

In this case, there is real evidence.
Yet, I bet that this morning that this school has full enrollment. Free babysitting, paid for by a tax-paying neighbor, is a powerful opiate of the masses.
Also,,,,as in nearly all of these government school horror stories, I bet this is a “good” school.

Moon Twp. is just outside of Pittsburgh, Pennsylvania (near the Greater Pgh International Airport). One of the best school districts in the area. Just goes to show these “needy” sickos are everywhere. I only know because I used to live near there, and family still does. KDKA is the long time radio/TV station. Just thought it would help you.
