Friends come and go, but shipmates are forever. Okay Freepers I know many of you have been reading and hearing details of the Iranians harassment of our warships entering the gulf.
My shipmate/friend states that many of the crewmembers onboard are angry about how the story is being reported in the press and that family members have been emailing his boat to the point that email has been taken offline.
Before going offline, my friend stated that the crews of all three ship responded as their training required and it was this training that proved superior to that of the Iranians, so the Iranians withdrew(after throwing boxes).
My friend states that all three ships completed their entry into Gulf and are current operating in the region.
I am posting this to any family members who have love ones serving on either the USS Port Royal, USS Hopper and USS Ingraham to let you know that your sailors are safe and responded in the best tradition of the United State Navy.
I contend that if the ships had responded in any other way, the floating imams would have won.

Is it true that the battle flag of the USS Ingraham is a black leather miniskirt and a leopard print top one size too small?
I've heard of throwing down the gauntlet, but this is a new one. Perhaps something lost in translation, as in "the mother of all wars."

I could not post the full extent of the details, Operation Security, but what a**holes choose to go up against a modern Cruiser, Destroyer and Frigate? In some places that is called target practice!!!

Never completely believe anything reported in the mainstream media about our military. What is necessary to know will be made known through military channels to those with a need to know.
I wish the media would just stay the he!! out of our armed forces.

It might make one wonder if Iran would be interfering with oil traffic all the time except for the US Navy. It is a lot more militarily active in the Gulf than we hear that’s for sure.
Happy to hear the real news, and not the clap trap the msm bilge forth.
Of course the media messed things up. A lot like when the KittyHawk tried porting in China. Only half the story got out.
Yeah that is why the crewmembers are so angry, because of the misreporting that MSM is doing. I told my friend I will post thru FR to get some word to family members who may know a Freeper or lurk here.
