I have to say this, and its not going to be pretty, and its worthy of being flamed:

If this party comes up with either Huckabee or McCain, I’m gone. Seriously. I’ll know we are pretty much done as a party.

I’ll join the Bull Moose party.

A voice of reason. Waiting for his return...

Darn sure are waiting. I came home from work, logged on and forgot he was out today.

Denied. :-)

Now, I want to remind all my Republican friends that there are many states after Iowa and New Hampshire where the Republican populations are far more indicative of the conservative base...and hopefully where independents won't have as much opportunity to vote in any party election they want - a sure recipe for mischief-making IMO.........

Well, do what your conscience leads you to do, but at least be thoughtful about it and not knee jerk reactionary.

We might have to start facing some really grim Conservative facts O’ life for Election 08, we may not have a candidate that we really like, our response to that factoid will determine our victory or defeat....

Fred Thompson becomes 6th candidate to participate in KS Caucus

Topeka, KS—Today, Fred Thompson became the sixth candidate to file for the Kansas GOP Presidential Caucus. Thompson’s campaign filed the official paperwork and paid the filing fee this morning.

Kansas Republican Party Chairman Kris Kobach stated, “I’m delighted to see that the Thompson Campaign has decided to devote its resources and attention to the Kansas Republican Caucus.

“With the filing of Senator Thompson for the Kansas Republican Caucus, we nearly have a full field. The candidates all recognize that if there is no clear winner coming out of Super Tuesday on February 5th, the Kansas Caucus will be an important battle ground.”

The KS GOP Caucus will be held on Saturday, February 9, 2008. In order to participate in the caucus, participants must be registered as a Republican by January 25, 2008 and must provide a photo ID at the caucus location. For more information about the caucus visit www.ksgopcaucus.org.

Yes. For changing conservatism as we know it. He's a Romneybot or Huckabite. He keeps popping up on Fred Thompson threads, lecturing us on the errors of our ways with Thompson.

And as supporters of Thompson, we have yet to see the errors of our ways. Of course...yesterday, Rush saw the light so I suppose its only a matter of time before I find the "new conservatism."

:-)

Please don’t accuse me of being for Myth Romney, he is Rush’s fair haired boy. Rush will let you know about that after Fred pulls the plug.

If Fred can win some primaries, he’ll be a fine nominee.

Meanwhile, Romney is a conservative who is already winning: 2nd in Iowa, 1st in Wyoming, 2nd in New Hampshire.

BTW, I’m watching Shep Smith here at midnight, and I’m thinking in another month he’s going to be wearing a dress.

Rush is not for any candidate, and I don’t believe I’ve heard him endorse any candidate.

But when is the last time that the 1st-place winner in Iowa and New Hampshire were different candidates, and the same guy came in 2nd.

Huckabee isn’t going to win Florida, NY, California, or Texas.

No, but Rudy could.

No need to get defensive. But as far as I can tell, Rush hasn’t endorsed a candidate. It really doesn’t matter what candidate I support.

I just know you’re not a Thompson supporter. No accusations, just guesses. Even though you’re wrong, we won’t hold that against you.

Has Rush endorsed a candidate, Libloather? I don’t believe so.
