My wife was a cheerleader throughout junior high and high school. There was one boy on their squad. His job was to pick the girls up and hold them in a “statue of liberty” pose with one arm. She says he only tried out so he could put his hand on the girls’ butts. Can’t say I blame him...I was a teenager once too!

Melissa Barner, who said she has sworn statements from other parents stating the coach admitted cutting Bobby because she didn't want a boy on her team. The coach is probably a militant feminist.

Good for him!! Despite what some people might think, there’s nothing wrong or “feminine” about a strong man/boy cheerleading. And there is no reason squads should exclude boys. They’re excellent for aerobatic routines and they are excellent voices on the field.

Wussy? President Bush was a cheerleader and with all his faults, he is no wussy. Male cheerleaders, almost to a man do it to be with the chicks.

have you seen the male cheerleaders at D-I colleges. they could kick your butt and usually date the female cheerleaders.
besides that, your statement is just plain stupid. you've embarrassed yourself, imo.
This is bizarre in 2008. Boys and men have been cheerleaders for decades. Ridiculous for a school to jump through these hoops over one woman’s sexism. Ridiculous.
