Obama’s racist anti-white church will not be covered by the media. It’s up to some brave Republican to bring it up.

“1) Suspicious of dogma (2) Without any monopoly on the truth (3) Nontransferable to others (4) Infused with a big healthy dose of doubt, and (5) Indulgent of and compatible with all other religions.”

Sounds like Emerging Church crapola that will lead to a one-world religion. Yikes!

I don’t think Obama’s “church” has much to do with religion. It has everything to do with black nationalism, though, just like Farrakhan’s Nation of Islam. Obama wouldn’t be taken seriously this long if he were a member of the Nation of Islam.

The Nation of Islam has many common themes with this black nationalist “church”, but the rhetoric coming out of Farrakhan is undoubtedly more strident and controversial, making it unlikely that Obama will want to be associated directly with Farrakhan or his NOI.

TUCC in Chicago is probably a lot different that the national UCC, which is predominantly white in membership. I’m interested in finding out just how connected Obama’s church is to the national United Church of Christ.

I agree. I don’t know what the details of that congregation’s affiliation and ties with the UCC are but I suspect they’re very weak. Apart from that particular issue, one shouldn’t ignore the fact that many mainline denominations have been corrupted by ultra-liberal and leftist secular political ideologies. Thomas C. Reeves wrote a good book on the subject, “The Empty Church.”

Yes, the Methodist Church has drifted left — and Episcopalians too. I’ll have to look for that book.

We need to stay on this topic of Obama’s church — there’s a lot more to this than meets the eye, I think.
