Kerry On, Obama

Campaign '08: As we prepare to return Anbar province to Iraqi control, the man who helped launch Barack Obama's promising national career now wants to help him derail Iraq's promising future.

"Anbar province, once considered a stronghold of al-Qaida, has been reclaimed for the Iraqi people," Defense Secretary Robert Gates said Thursday.

The liberation of Anbar was the crowning achievement of the surge orchestrated by Gen. David Petraeus and opposed by Sen. Barack Obama, running for the job of Petraeus' boss.

In an interview from his Multi-National Force West headquarters in Fallujah, Marine Maj. Gen. Walter E. Gaskin, commander of the roughly 35,000 Marine and Army troops in Anbar, said level of violence has dropped to the point where, coupled with the progress and development of Iraqi security forces, the U.S. will transfer control of Anbar to provincial authorities in March.

The success of the surge has been ignored by Sen. Obama, if not by Rep. John Murtha (D-Pa.), who admits the surge seems to be working. The Democrats had hoped to ride a wave of bad war news into the White House. Now they just hope to recapture the White House so they can withdraw the troops before they can return home in victory.

Enter Sen. John Kerry, jumping waist deep into the big muddle that is the Democratic primary, spurning Sen. John Edwards, who defeated Kerry in the 2004 Democratic South Carolina primary, to endorse Obama.

Kerry wants to help Obama give a liberated Iraq back to the jihadists and terrorists who would be quite happy to turn it into a repeat of the 1975 killing fields after a Democratic Congress forced us to abandon South Vietnam

Interesting to note in 2004 John McCain was Kerry’s 1st choice for VP. How quickly the GOP base has seemed to forgive McCain’s habitual political treason simply out of a pathetic fear of Hillary Clinton

The democrats have the choice between the Manchurian Candidate and the Muslim Trojan Horse. The nation will have the chance to vote for either one of them. What went wrong in our history?

What went wrong in our history?

The 17th Amendment is the foundation of all this BS.

If Obama was really smart he would have announced that he absolutely refused Kerry’s endorsment.

He won’t win anyway.

Question is...

Is it Kerry's idiocy at work or is he a Hitlery pawn for personal gain?

From one empty suit to another. Neither one had or has a clear thought or plan in thier empty heads. This Democratic party reminds me of American idol or dancing with the stars TV show. Entertaining shows for the dumb and stupid

I would add the distinct possibility of a third party candidate to divide the Republican vote. Call it the Perot Trojan Horse, ala the Clinton playbook.

BTW, your tagline is sound advice.

This rings true to me. Why would Obama want a Kerry endorsement otherwise?
