It won’t happen. Here’s why.
Islam demands that believers accept the Koran and the sayings of Muhammed as the explicit word of God, unchanging and unalterable.
The essence of moderation is that ability to choose between alternatives. In Islam, there are only two alternatives - belief or disbelief.
Islam has strong opinions about those who do not believe. The Koran explicitly tells believers that they should try to convert the unbeliever. If the unbeliever refuses to convert, he can be killed. The exceptions are Jews and Christians, who are allowed to live under Islam as long as they follow harsh rules limiting their conduct, religious expression, political standing in the community, and so forth.
Therefore, there are no “extremists.” In Islam, it’s either us or them. Waiting for the Islamic world to denounce extremism is a lot like waiting for the Christians to reject the risen Christ, because the behavior that we consider extreme is simply action taken by Islamic believers following the rules set down by God.
In the Christan world, choice is a powerful force, starting with the choices made by the Jews to follow or not follow God, and then continuing with the choices made by Christians. Throughout the Bible, people stray, come back, stray again. Believers mirror that struggle themselves by grappling with the sin in the lives. With Christians and Jews, there are “extremists,” because there is an established diversity of opinion about how to be a good Jew or a good Christian.
The Koran allows no diversity. That doesn’t mean it hasn’t happened - look at the Shi’ite and Sunni split - but when push comes to shove, the Islamic believer looks to the Book for the absolute word. The struggle is between the absolute truth and the believer’s ability to follow.
And here we are confronting each other - freedom vs. strict adherence to a 1,300-year-old book.

Yes ; I can tell you from experience that they do .
When down in London for a trade fair , myself and a couple of colleagues decided to go for a curry in Brick Lane (a street in the East End 90% Bangladeshi ) . Walking up the lane we encountered whistles , shouts of ‘Kuffir’, etc , from groups of youths . I replied that we were looking for a decent curry house to spend our money in , and a leader type ‘offered’ to take us to a good one for a ‘fee’ of £10 each . We agreed , having little choice , and when this young savage took us to the place he said ‘sorry about some of our brothers - this is our area . Next time you come here ask for me and I’ll bring you up the lane no hassle .’
Another time in the Manningham area of Bradford , had just measured an empty shop for a prospective client , when a crowd of Paki/Kashmiri kids gathered . They started yelling abuse and threats as I got into my car . As I drove off a few of them threw things (including a firework ) and consequently I hit a minibus for disabled people in my haste to get away.
Once in the City Centre I phoned the police . At the station house they got me to fill in a statement and , when I had done so , they wanted to charge ME with leaving the scene of an accident !
Of course I was livid and asked them why they turned a blind eye to the way that the 3rd world savages behaved on their patch . The reply ? ‘Well sir , if people like you showed a bit more tolerance then perhaps they would behave a bit differently . It sounds to us that you did or said summat to provoke them .’
All this is happening with the full approval of this Government , by the way .
They are allowed to lie to us...
and the muslims are trained by their leaders how to do it.

Very true... Muslim Trojan horses, it works for me. I just wish more people would understand that giving into their demand is just BS. If they can't adapt to living here then send them go back to their own lands. I don't know why they want to be here, for the money or as Trojan horses...In all the pictures I have ever seen of Iraq , I've never seen a foot bath. so I want to know why they insist on them here.

One of the basic tenets from muHAMed is that any Islamic law can be violated if the goal is to advance global Islam.
There is no negotiating with these people. Treaties are only entered into when the opposing force is too great, in order to allow time for the Islamists to gain enough strength to attack.
If insulting one Muslim is insulting ALL Muslims, then if we kill one Muslim terrorist, should we not kill all Muslims, terrorists or not?

I agree with you. They are taking over as much as they can. Sharia law being used for them in other countries...Demanding their ways in OUR country. Its BS. And it ought to be nipped in the bud asap.

These ‘moderate muslims’ might look moderate to the naive liberal left, but are just Trojan Horses.
The muslims see many easy targets here.
Another is the liberal universities where they get footbaths and prayer rooms for themselves.
The Universities hates religion ( Christians and Jews...)

After radical Muslims had eight glorious years of killing with wild abandon without retribution, Bush was a wake-up call for Islam. It showed radical Muslims that America does have its limits and that not all American presidents are cowards. This was quite a shock for most of them. Now, because of that miscalculation, the radicals have lost their grip on Afghanistan and Iraq. Longtime ally and supporter, Libya, turned tail on the radical Muslims after witnessing how quickly Saddam fell before American might. Pakistan also made a rapid change in policy. No longer did the Pakistani government support the Taliban. The joy that radical Muslims felt after 9/11 was very short lived since the price tag for that attack ran much higher than the Islamics expected and the tab continues to rise. The highest cost to Islam as a whole is the great divide that has formed within Islam itself. Islam being what it is, it doesn’t find fault within Islam. Islam blames Bush.
Interestingly, radical Muslims believe that the Christian “God” is not God at all, but Satan in disguise. In turn, that makes all Christians followers of Satan and Islam has the responsibility, bestowed on Islam by Allah, to exterminate the Satan-worshiping non-Muslims. In the radical mind, only Allah is God. While Islamics will smile and say we all worship the same God, this is not what they believe. They just tell people what they think they want to hear to make them feel comfortable before they kill them. Radical Muslims lie—a lot.
