Good luck tomorrow.
And this coming from a FredHead....
Romney is a flip-flopper and unreliable.
McCain is a determined enemy of free speech for Americans and a determined advocate for the rights of terrorists and illegal aliens.
You ought to be watching C-Span right now
you can not ignore the obvious.
Unless Romney is more shifty than what he does show,
let me parlay the answer that most FReepers know:
NO! NO! NO! NO! NO!"
I knew, I wasn’t the only Women Pulling for Romney, he ranks high among Women voters.. good deal.
Good luck to Fred in South Carolina.. Let’s do it! Time to Roll!
Let’s do it to it! :-)
Interesting.
This poll shows Romney leading the vote in Metro Detroit (40%)while McCain leads in West Michigan (26%).
In conservative West Michigan, Romney gets only 14 percent, the worst in the state.
Just heard Zogby say that if Michigan was a closed election, Romney would basically win. These open primaries are really skewing the results!
Huckabee is pulling in a lot of conservatives.
Yep. It’s time that we contact our elected representatives in our states and in Washington, D.C. to make the necessary changes for fair primary elections.
Yep. He’s hurting Romney.
Romney is the only candidate who stands a chance. I know, I know, this flies in the face of polls showing very weak nationally but McCain is simply too old and has his own baggage that will make him an easy target in the General Election. IMHO
I just can't see McCain. Full Stop.Rush put it this way: If McCain gets the nomination and loses, conservatives still lose. But if he gets the nomination and wins it will if anything be worse for the Republican Party. It would lose its identity.
And my personal opinion is that he cannot win. He is too old and is overage in grade - that is, he has been in the Senate too long without getting elected to the presidency/vice presidency. And when that happens you are Bob Dole or John Kerry. And, the minute McCain got the nomination, Big Journalism would rediscover the Keating 5 mess, and tell you more about it than you ever wanted to know.
I would love to see independents and some democrats in Detroit cross over and vote for Mitt....knowing he is the best man for their state and the country. I can dream, can’t I. :)
And John McCain brought Joe Lieberman to Michigan to campaign with him. Why? To appeal to Republicans? Somehow, I don’t think so.
I’ll dream that as well. :-)
Well I hope Romney slaps the crap out of McCain and Huck tommorow.
McCain might be considering Lieberman for VP. I have been hearing about Democrats phoning and emailing to get voters to cross over and vote for McCain in Michigan. Air America reportedly has also pushed for McCain.
