God bless our awesome troops!!! Prayers for full recovery for our injured warriors, and also prayers for those young ignoramus “lefties-in-the-making” that they can grow up/wake up to reality soon and appreciate our military and how good we have it here in the U.S.
Thank you to the DC Chapter for braving the cold just to let our hero’s know they are loved and appreciated, and for the after-action reports for those of us who can’t be there.

That’s exactly how I feel about it. Funny how we’re there to thank them and love them and support them, but they come out to see us and tell US “thank you for being here”... There’s never enough we can do. There’s always another solder to thank, love, hug, pray for, support, talk to, etc., and there are never enough hours in the day to do a proper job of it.
Hoorah for Joel!!!! There the Lefties were all bundled up and Joel walks out in only his hospital gown/robe! True grit! I sure would have loved being in on that conversation!

(I have to admit; I’m not quite sure if I should be impressed that Joel is from NJ or just put his escapade down to the mixture of DC and NJ water. . . .)

My body was with the troops at the National Training Center, Fort Irwin, but my thoughts were with you in D.C. Any time I’m in Northern Virginia I’ll do my best to spend a Friday night with you.
