Just wanted to say as a Romney supporter good luck to the Thompson campaign today. I hope you guys do well in SC and we do well in NV. Most of you were on our side in Michigan and we appreciate it. TBH, I had been a little annoyed at some of the Thompson supporters prior to that primary, but you guys showed me something with your support in that race that changed my mind and I'd be proud to cast a vote for either man in November (maybe we'll get lucky and get to cast one for BOTH!).
In the end, I think we are a lot more alike than we are dissimilar and as such a Romney-Thompson alliance only makes sense. The real deal Senator and the business savant make two excellent choices.
Give em hell boys!
Not voting for Fred Thompson can cause your p@#$! to fall off.
Thompson will be # 1 or 2 in South Carolina. Hang on and watch. It’s going to be a great ride!
Not going to say where I think Romney will be. (SC)
I do think and have stated that I think Romney/Thompson can be a winning ticket.
You are very welcome. I’ve been warming to Romney a bit. I still have reservations about his record. I just don’t want a big government conservative who is going to promote homosexuality while in office. Also his Health Care plan is a sticking point for me.
That said, anyone who can take down the Huckabee/McCain machine the power to them. Poor Huck is getting desperate.
Running like he wants a part on the Grand ole Opry. Is it just me or is his campaign is taking on a surreality with his bringing in tv wrestlers? I suppose we can be be happy with the knowledge that wrestling is fake.
I agree, we need to knock the worst two out of this race.
Romney + Thompson = Dream Team! I wish on stars and pray to God for my dream to come true!
Fred is my first choice but I think Romney is fine also. I like his private business and government management experience - a smart, successful guy. A Thompson Romney ticket would be great.
True that
AbMHG - Anyone but Mccain,Huckabee,Guliani
I would love to see a Romney-Thompson Ticket.
Great post! Keep it up! Spread it to every thread if need be. GO FRED in South Carolina, and GO MITT in Nevada! I would not mind having a Thompson/Romney ticket. That is also what Clint Walker said on the Mark Levin show yesterday. He did say he wanted Fred to be our next President! GO FRED!
“Most of you were on our side in Michigan and we appreciate it.”
Sounds like a phony vanity to me. Where did you find the numbers for it?
Hugh Hewitt is that you?
Guess which part of this three headed monster is Mitt?
At best, Thompson would be going into SC with 91 Delegates. At the worst, it would be a two man race, Thompson and Romney.
The New MSM's folly opened the door for Huckabee and McCain.
The way this electorate has gone in the early states has placed me exactly in this AbMHG camp. I’m a FredHead and am frustrated, bewildered, confused, baffled and mystified by the early results putting McCain and Huck so high. I also believe that it is a natural for Fred and Mitt to team up to beat back this insanity (and I thought initially Rudy was our main concern).
Great post, Dragon.
I’m a Fred supporter, but I second your sentiment. I see a possibly alliance here, and I’d certainly prefer Mitt to Huckabee or McCain.
Rommney supporters have at least responded to questions about his record. I have my disagreements with him, but I believe his supporters are pretty good conservatives, and I could certainly vote for him in November.
Good luck to Mitt in Nevada!
Hank
