Dogs turn out to be interesting puzzle pieces in all this all on their own.

There are reports of . . .

—dogs being hyper sensitive and averse to all such.

—occasionally, dogs being very aggressive but not going closer than a certain point . . .

—dogs being frozen in mid aggressive attack . . . IIRC, one dog jumping, being frozen in mid jump and falling to the ground frozen until after the phenomenon had departd . . .

—dogs being lasered in half . . .

I forget the other such . . . seems like another couple or 3 interesting happenings.

The educationally deprived really would do better to read the whole Bible someday . . . Revelation is looming closer and closer.

This dog would sit and watch, maybe beg a biscuit from them. Previous dog would offer then a biscuit.

"Can’t ever prove there isn’t since the universe is so large we would forget what we were doing before we got more than a couple light years out, but if we stumble across some of that, then there it is. In the meantime we ought to proceed as if we are alone in this mess."

It doesn't look as if it can be proven one way or another at the moment, true (although when I was recently on jury duty, the judge advised us that guilt can be proven beyond a reasonable doubt on witness testimony alone).

As for proceeding as if we were alone, I agree insofar as thinking for ourselves and taking care of ourselves is the correct approach. OTOH, if there are alien civilizations, there is no way to know that they'll even understand us or care about us anymore than we care about insects...their becoming aware of us might not be beneficial. I vote for keeping a low profile.

We would have to anyway since we are not capable of making much of an impression at this time. Land on Mars? As if anybody would care even if they did notice.

LOL.

The most frequent dog responses seem to be . . .

—alert then

—whining, whimpering, pacing but a good distance from the phenomena.

—many go and hide as in under the porch or some such.

—Most animals will not go near where a craft has landed; nor a mutilated cow etc. usually for many, many months or longer.

Sure it is and once again you have assumed because I said there is a difference there is only one. Yet more arrogance on your part.

My personal favorite regarding Fermi’s Paradox is that if there are civilizations out there, not only do they not want to be contacted, they can’t understand why any other civilization would.

Nice guys don’t get to be top dog. Any species that manages to climb it’s way to the top of a planet’s food change and then develop a technological civilization capable of space travel is going to be aggressive, smart and potentially hostile.

That being the case, the intelligent thing to do would be listen and see if you could spot them, but do everything you could to keep them from spotting you.

Infinite diversity in infinite combinations?

I guess that means that somewhere, somewhen a gay bull elephant is being pleasured by a transgendered chihuahua...

Is the answer still 42?

Yep. Broadcasting signals into space trolling for response seems like a stupid thing to do. Do we think that rules of predator and prey are exclusive to us?

Some sources assert that they have a technology or capacity somehow to repress/depress inclinations toward thinking about cameras.

Yeah, that seems to be a theme of these sorts of sightings. We were on a two lane road in the high desert. There was no reason to not pull over and stop to take pictures. We took something like 2000 pictures on that trip, too.

My neighbor had a strange thing happen to him, too. Not sure of the origin, but he found a small bit of a metallic substance inside a banana. It looks like a piece of mylar foil like Christmas tree tinsel or something. He was about to head out to work one day and decided to fang down a banana before he left. He peeled it and for some reason unbeknownst to him, he turned it to look at the other side. That was when he realized there was this fleck of silver on the banana. He fished it off the bananna and put it on the counter. That's when it got weird. This thing has a charge. It scoots away from you when you try to pick it up. His wife is a machinist/metallurgist down at TVA's Nuke plant "Sequoyah." She took it into their shop where they have a microscope. This thing has etchings on it like a printed circuit board. It also has some "memory" to it that causes it to retain it's shape after it's been wadded up. He still has it in a small specimen jar. If you put your finger on the jar, it tries to scoot away inside the jar. Strange stuff.....

Speaking of the man with the towel, I read all those books over Christmas. They were funny at times, and even eloquent occasionally, but I have to admit that it was a letdown when everyone got killed at the end of the last book. All over again.

I do understand that VHF signals are actually not able to penetrate very far into space, which is a very good thing IMO.

sounds like some of the implants that move away from the surgeon’s scapel about to remove them . . . under their own power.

An extremely haunting UFO sighting which has well stood the test of time was an event which took place in the Piney Woods of Texas, near the town of Huffman.

Maybe that's why I have those giant mutated lemons.

The strange part about this thing, and what has us all really puzzled, other than the charge it holds, and the etchings and the apparent "memory", is how the hell did it get inside the banana peel?

That would be a puzzle, for sure, imho.

Though I’m more concerned about how such things get inside human beings.
