but it sure does not help the candidates or conservatives to be “ignorant” of what the media is trying to pull.)

Very true. Hopefully the voters are catching on and quickly.

Wow...didn’t see that before. To be fair, and it must have just killed them to do it, Fox News did put up a graphic a few times with just Mitt Romney and Ron Paul (after Ron Paul had overtaken McCain for second place).

But, overall this post is exactly right. The MSM, for no good reason that I can see, downplayed Romney’s win in Nevada, and endlessly hyped McCain’s three-point win in South Carolina. The did the same with Romney’s Michigan win.

Romney is the front runner right now...not McCain. It doesn’t matter much right now, but “them’s the facts.”

I’m surprised the media shots you sent didn’t mention Rudy. LOL

No, you’re not. Mitt is far ahead in terms of delegates and yet McCain has been said to be the leader even before his win in South Carolina. They’re pushing him on us.

They’re doing the same with Obama. He keeps winning more delegates, but they’re falling over themselves b/c Hillary “won.” It’s about delegates and she got less than Obama, but she “won?”

We don’t have a real media, we have cheerleaders and activists.

Thompson will drop out soon and hopefully so will Ghooliani after he doesn't win Florida. It will be hard for the MSM to continue to impose the Ron Paul blackout then. The really telling thing will be tomorrows MLK Day Money bomb. If Ron Paul supporters can again raise several million dollars the media can't ignore that and it gives the campaign more momentum.

"Its the Constitution, stupid".

Good find. I am not a Paul fan, but I completely abhor the NYSlimes and their DBM allies. Here's a Larry Elder column you may enjoy.

LOL, thinking if Paul actually one a state, how would the media treat it? Probably tout up the second place winner.

I do think the MLK M/B will be a very good day for RP. It will be downplayed unless he gets 7MM or more.

If he does less than the 6MM, the media will claim he is clearly losing support.

But if they can do that to Nevada and Mitt and Paul..they can do it to YOUR candidate and state too.

Just waking up to this?

All we heard was yapping about how Hunter was a lousy campaigner, yadda yadda yadda, even after the media booted him from the stage in debates after he had won a delegate in Wyoming (which they ignored as well).

The problem was neither COngressman Hunter, nor his message, but the media.

Coming soon to a candidate near you.

I'm expecting a face off between Rudy and Hillary in the fall, and I'm not playing.

I agree. I hope Ron Paul raises a pile of money. I hope he goes the distance.

Bobby Tall Horse wrote an article on Candidate supporters and how Ron Paul’s were the best. Not just for raising money, but Bobby goes on to say that Ron Paul supporters are knowledgeable about Ron Paul’s stand on the issues and how informed they are. It was interesting.

Anyhow..I hope Ron Paul stays in.

LOL, thinking if Paul actually one a state,

That is a joke. I will win as many states as cut and run will, and I will do it without George Soros' money or the help of moveon.org.

George Stephanopoulos, not bias at all. s/

The conservative blackout continues.

I heard on Fox News on more than one occasion this morning how McCain was the front runner.
WTF? How does being a distant second in delegates equate to being the first?
South Carolina wasn’t winner take all so he split most of those delegates with Huckabee. Romney trounced everyone in Nevada so he picked up a lot of delegates.
An appropriate chess analogy would be like McCain sacrificing his Queen to take Mitt’s knight. McCain is losing in all of the places Mitt expected him to and is losing ground fast.

They did do it in SC to Fred. The only way he could get any coverage was to crash their prim time Evening Primary Gabfest for McCain and Huck. What a great move!

"It might interest you to know that I am for Fred Thompson. If he drops out..I am at a loss. "

Fred dropped out when he didn't spend the last month campaigning on why he should be President instead of running as 'I'm not Huckabee'. McCain and Fred are a tag team. Fred is not about to deep 6 his TV future.

It seems that it’s okay to ignore or marginalize candidates if they don’t fit into our own personal idea of who’s the best candidate. No one gets up in arms as long as it’s not Fred Thompson (for example) being ignored. Voting fraud is okay also as long as it’s not obviously targeted against the favorite.

Where are the millions of emails and telephone calls and faxes that previous elections generated? No need to bother since it’s only Ron Paul and/or Duncan Hunter that are affected.

This nation will have no one to blame but themselves when the media and the powerbrokers choose our next president. And we can pat ourselves on the back when we lose our freedoms and our country because we laughed and jeered at blatant lies and fraud against honest candidates trying to make a difference in our future.

One of the largest counties in Nevada went Ron Paul and he had a respectable showing in all the others. If it’s mentioned at all, it’s a remark that it might have been expected since it is the home of Area 51 and Art Bell. Duncan Hunter pulled in votes here that aren’t even mentioned.

No one seems the least upset that the GOP in Nevada made a real effort to keep voters at home so that their favorites could win. That even after the GOP in Reno endorsed Duncan Hunter.

The majority of people here seem to support Fred Thompson. Where are the supporters handing out literature or holding signs or putting on bumper stickers or yard signs? Everyone moans about his poor showing but you allow it if you aren’t actively doing something to make it better. The only action I see is to insult supporters of other candidates and promote or repeat lies about said candidates.

Yes, I’m a Ron Paul supporter. I’ll write his name in at the General Election. No, I will not vote for the media’s choice for President - at this point, what difference is there between the Democrat and Republican candidates that they are pushing. Obviously, either one will promote their agenda.

End of rant.

No kidding I was listening to the WABC 77 news and heard McCain and Clinton won.

I called and asked why Romney was not mention since he had the highest delegates for R and the guy said something that Nevada was not big enough and there was not enought time, so I called him on his bias, and he said, ya you got me!

It was a good rant.

I do believe Thompson supporters are seeing/feeling the blackout by the media as the RP supporters have been saying/writing all along.
