Ramos and Compean Rally - Pics
1/20/2008

The Rally Today was great. Ironically, as we were rallying for the release of Ramos and Compean a Border Patrol Agent was being killed in California and Duncan Hunter was withdrawing from the Presidential Race.

Hunter has done his best to bring this case to the forefront. With his departure, I believe only Paul and Thompson would bring attention to this case of injustice to Ramos and Compean.

Paul, Thompson, do something, say something to have these guys pardoned!!

Hopefully president Bush takes care of this business when he leaves office. It’s not like pardoning his brother or anything, re: Clinton...but I’m not holding my breathe.

***Hopefully president Bush takes care of this business ***

Considering the fact that his friend Johnny Sutton prosecuted this case, I too will not be holding my breath.

That is great but more people would have made it a heck of a lot better. The anti Americans could use that as fodder for their activist stances.

I don’t always get a chance to respond to these threads, but thank you for all you and the others have done on this issue. Keep up the good work.

Today I was doing what would end up my last pitch for Duncan Hunter at a rally (for a different cause). It’s a shame more people didn’t support him when we had the chance. Hopefully the Johnny-Come-Latelys still left in the race will take his issues seriously, but I doubt it.

"Only hours ago a border patrolman was killed in the California Desert. This tragedy emphasizes more than ever the compelling case for the completion of the border fence. Since I wrote the bill that mandates 854 miles of double border fence only a few miles have been constructed. Over the next year in Congress I will do everything in my power to get that fence built."

They have a better chance of President Hillary pardoning them than Presindente Bush.

I assume you mean Westwood Village in LA, not Westwood in Lassen Co. (I don’t think they have any skyscrapers there).
