THE FBI has been accused of covering up a key case file detailing evidence against corrupt government officials and their dealings with a network stealing nuclear secrets.
The assertion follows allegations made in The Sunday Times two weeks ago by Sibel Edmonds, an FBI whistleblower, who worked on the agency’s investigation of the network.
Edmonds, a 37-year-old former Turkish language translator, listened into hundreds of sensitive intercepted conversations while based at the agency’s Washington field office.
She says the FBI was investigating a Turkish and Israeli-run network that paid high-ranking American officials to steal nuclear weapons secrets. These were then sold on the international black market to countries such as Pakistan and Saudi Arabia.

The was a posting some time ago suggesting that this is what Sandy Burger was covering up.
We cozied-up with the Turks for the Brits, and all they gave us was that lousy, anti-American propaganda t-shirt?
Notice the time line. It began under the clinton administration (of course), but it continued into the Bush administration. And the FBI is still covering it up now.
That is, basically, because clinton involved many high level FBI people in illegal activities, of which this was only one. So they can’t come clean without condemning themselves.
Clinton liked to work with crooks, because they are eminently blackmailable. If you can blackmail someone, then you are sure of their loyalty.
Large segments of the FBI are still basically run by the clintons, partly because they promoted their people, partly because they implicated them in crimes, and partly because they are hoping to be rewarded when hillary gets into the White House again.
Maybe this case will provide an opportunity to get Mr. Burglar on the stand and ask him.
Mayhap (always wanted to use that word !) we sould look at The Liberty Coalition whilst we’re about it.

No one has mentioned the former FBI/CIA Agent Nada Nadim Prouty. Her husband Gordon Prouty works for State. There are many posts on FR re Prouty.

Congress isn’t the only place where crooks work in Washington.
If the F.B.I. said the sun comes up in the east, I’d check before I believed that or anything else they say about ANYTHING.
Didn’t Edmonds accuse Dennis Hastert of something? He resigned rather abrubtly a couple months ago, IIRC.
So even though valerie plame drove through the front gate of the CIA every day and the front company that she worked for was outed to the enemy 2 years before "plamegate" they still went through the charade in hopes of bringing down the administration.
Treason? I think so.

Sibel Edmonds is part of Daniel Ellsberg’s gang of raging pinkos ...Ellsberg is the Vietnam Era freak who was infamous for his theft of the Pentagon Papers- and for leaking them to the press in an effort to undercut our war effort. In recent years he and his associates have been simultaneously screaming outrage at the “outing” of super-dooper CIA employee Valerie Plame while begging for more government employees to risk prosecution by leaking classified info.
