How about we also blame the lame brain voters who wouldn't know a good conservative candidate if it slapped them in the face like a wet blanket blowing in the wind.
Right now it is all entertainment, fun and games, and process--oh, and msm manipulatiion. But we have to live with it for 4 to 8 years.

Obviously that was satire — ! lol I say he should go for it. It would be true to form for his religious persuasion (Purpose Driven - drive the resisters from the church).

I hear ya. My mom, to my chagrin, voted for McCain in MI. even though I know she listens to Rush on occasion (she seems to be unable to pay attention more than a few minutes at a time, even if I am talking to her... so probably same with Rush). And even though I’m trying to inform her on the candidates too. I think she did it because I warned her about Huckabee and she didn’t see anyone else who was going to support the War on Terror. She hadn’t heard of Duncan Hunter at all.

A recent article posted here said Murdoch’s son is a flaming liberal and is now in charge of Fox, if I got it correct.
Fred supporters ought to call in Rush and say we’re boycotting Fox.

If the real conservatives voted for FDT then either there arent many left or most didnt bother to vote. Sad options. Or the machines were tampered...
I hear that all it takes is a little SD card to hack.

Huckabee is a definite fraud. I wonder if he has been endorsed by Rick Warren?

You cant deny that Thompson was hounding him. Think what you want about how it should have turned out, but that doesnt make Huckabee wrong here. I imagine Thompson is happy about that and if nothing else, he is probably very glad he helped McCain beat Huckabee. Thompson endorsed McCain in 2000 you know. I doubt he sees this as a principled loss. After all, its not about him.
More unsubstantiated garbage from the Huckster camp and his supporters.
No matter how many times you repeat this tripe, it will still not make it true.
The reason your candidate lost SC is that his dismal record as Governor is finally catching up to his campaign rhetoric.
The same thing happened to Rudy, and it has only begun for the Huckster!

Now ol huck is sounding very bill clinton like!!! Is the vast right wing conspiracy at it again.... I thought that was Hillary. oh well same thing!
Hey the vast right wing conspiracy does exist you know. I have a plaque indicating I am a member in good standing, and a bumper sticker and Tshirt too!

Huckabee has shallow support.
CNN showed a county by county chart. Where Thompson went, Huckabee lost.
However on on one retail campaigns are just not physically possible any more.

" How can anyone think Hucklebee is anything but a dishonest fraud? "
For the same reason someone can think that Mitt Romney, Rudy, John McCain are conservative.
To: Terriergal
repeated a claim by his campaign chairman that Fred Thompson was his biggest barrier to defeating John McCain in the Palmetto State. Hey Huckleberry, that's politics. The Huckster is totally clueless. He would silence ALL of his opposition if he could. He sure doesn't like it for people to have free speech. He and John McCain are two of a kind..........a couple of loose cannons. IMO, they are both dangerous. The Huckster is as unstable as McCain is.

Hounding? Like shining a light on his record? Oh waaah.
Oh. And before anyone says “Thompson should have gone after McCain in SC,” it would have been suicide in a military state. Notice Huck didn’t go after McCain either. He sucked up to him. At least Thompson didn’t do that.
