Thats because Huck wants to be McCains running mate. A match made in RINO hell.
-—————————————————>
The only thing worse would be a third party ticket with these two bozos on it.
Then again, one or the other could hook up with Hillary as her VP. Both Huckabee and McCain to have a real mean spirted streak in them.

Well, even if Thompson drops out tomorrow he'll have done his country a great service. Huh? By letting Huckster get more support? I don't think so.

That was really well said. I agree with you completely. ME TOO!
I'm getting tired of the Repubs trotting RINOS out and sitting back and letting any real conservatives rot. I hate to pull out and think of the Dems winning... but if the liberal Republicans win, they can pin the blame on the republicans for all his bad decisions. So.. at least if the dems have their loser in office, they can't do that as easily. (wow what a bright spot...) :-(

I looked at the Constitution Party but their idea of the greatest candidate in the world to head their party is.....(I couldnt believe it).....Ron Paul. You know, the weird thing is, Paul (for as unimpressive as he was in the debate) didn't come off as isolationist as I thought he was. It was kinda strange.
I've looked at the CP too.

Sounds like Mike has developed an ego of McCain proportions. Yup. I think as a pastor who thinks another GIANT EGO pastor is cool, that was inevitable.

for a guy who virtually claimed divine intervention after/(during?) Iowa ("it's like the five loaves and two fish") , this is weak. Huck seems to be good at reinterpreting these kinds of things to suit himself.

If Ron Paul’s foreign policy wasn’t so screwed up he’d be a great candidate.
He’s the only one talking about eliminating the department of education!

I worked the Thompson campaign in SC. On Saturday Huckabees tactic was to push deceptive calls to voters. He sent the message that Fred couldnt win, so therefore vote Huckabee. OH man!!! And Thompson's response as you retold it there sounds incredibly classy (SERIOUSLY).
sageb1 asked whether anyone from the SC Thompson campaign had seen any 'flyers' that were put on cars by Huckster campaigners? Know anything about that?

Your logic is right on track.
If the GOP is veering leftward it is because we allow it to.
They aren’t really getting the 06 message yet, from what I see, but they have spun those events a bit differently.
It will take a sea change in which they finally understand that the GOP survival itself is imperiled to get back along with our values.
I hope that they do before 2012 because I believe 08 will be a disaster in all races
If they ever get it. - If not, they are the new Whigs.

I have quite a few evangelical Christians I don’t like (and I am one too). The MSM fawns over and has made very prominent the evangelicals that preach little to NO Biblical truth.

Hear, hear! Thompson's fault Fred didn't soar. With Huck's 29% and his 16%--hey!hey!
I really do not want to hear this whine.

If the real conservatives voted for FDT then either there aren’t many left or most didn’t bother to vote.

Huckabee certainly pulled out all the stops against Thompson, including all those push polls and flyers claiming that Thompson was pro-abortion. I would love someone to post a scan of those flyers.
As far as ego, see my post on ego above at 66. There are now LOTS of pastors like this thanks to HIM.

Many analysts said his speech Saturday night sounded like a prelude to a withdrawal. Fox is the dirtiest of lowlife scum. Yeah what's with them the last couple years???!!
Well Rupert Murdoch isn't all that interested in conservatism himself, I doubt -- he's just interested in cornering the market. Eventually his philosophies are going to seep through/trickle down. Maybe he ought to get rid of his porn empire for starters if he really wants to be conservative.
