Yes, hear that the pre-nup was in HER favor. He really IS a schmuck. He lost his children, AND will lose the Presidency too, over that dirball. Plus he will lose his shirt, lol.

In your opinion

Would JC want to take a huge pay cut? The only problem now is that I think he enjoys being a commentator (if that is what it is called).

Vanity Fair, I think. Rudy’s children have nothing to do with him.

McCain vs Romney. Mccain is more conservative on some issues (he has a much better record on pro-life) but also very liberal on others. He will also be the next Dole.
In the post-fred era I’m now tentatively leaning towards Romney.

Hunter is fine by me, great choice personally. He has been getting so few votes in the primaries, though. He might do some good in carrying California, do you think?

Also, Michael Steele has been mentioned as VP to Mitt. He could be effective as a good candidate and as a counter to Obama.

His “betrayal” on 4-5 issues helps him win a general and advance dozens of other issues. The war, judges, spending, the 2nd. Noone cares about campaign finance. The ‘Ganf of 1’4 helped Alito, it didn’t hinder anything. He has gotten the message on amnesty and the pressure is so strong that will not pass.

McCain is the only candidate that can win. However, you guys prove why the conventional wisdom is right. You are lemmings. This is why historically we are supposed to lose the election. You guys are cocky and stupid. You have not tasted defeat enough. The Dems have and are united. I am trying to help break this historical cycle. You guys are marching off the cliff. Go ahead, but I’m not coming.

This site is discouraging. But then again if the people here were representative of our party we would have a Fred/Hunter race neck and neck and they are the first casualties. Our only hope is that the party comes to its senses. Romney is a Democrat regardless of what he will do because he means we elect Hillary or Obama.

What a nightmare.

Judith Giuliani’s presence also can remind voters that her husband is barely on speaking terms with his 21-year-old son Andrew, an apparent outgrowth of the divorce and remarriage, which deprives the candidate from presenting the family tableaux favored by those running for office.

A vote for McCain is a vote for a Republican condoned AMNESTY bill. Kiss it all goodbye then.

It was a well-researched article..... and they did not deny it. John Fund wrote about her getting into brawls in my WSJ column.

One must presume Thompson’s people have made their choice.

It’s the right one. He is best suited, in 2009 where there is a Democratic majority and no GOP agenda will EVER be adopted, to use his brilliance finding a way to water down and dilute what the Democrats want. His USSC picks, too, will be brilliand as very weak and slightly right of center moderate judges, who will be the very best picks imaginable — because no one else would ever be confirmed by a Democrat majority larger than it is now.

Romney is the best pick for this cycle with Thompson essentially gone — announced or not.

Steele. Another solid guy. Both he and JC are pretty stout fellows, and I guess if we are looking for someone of color to compete against the Dems these would be pretty high up on my list of candidates.

I like Steele for his exec experience as lt gov in Maryland, and down the road he would make a fine Presidential candidate.
