Dr. Binh Diep, the researcher who led the study, told Reuters, "Once this reaches the general population, it will be truly unstoppable." The study found that the "[MRSA] epidemic probably started in San Francisco and has been disseminated by the frequent cross-coastal travel of men who have sex with men."Suggest closing the bathhouses and see all the maries get up in arms.

Despite the overwhelming percentages, this truth will never see the light of day.
We just can’t hurt the mo’s feelings, can we?

inviting the Human Rights Campaign (HRC), the National Gay and Lesbian Task Force, GLAAD and Lambda Legal to put aside profound ideological differences with CWA for the sake of the lives and health of their members Good luck with that.

Maybe they could start by getting mental help so they won’t feel the need to engage in the filthy perverted practices that cause the spread of disease.

Maybe there is a reason why civilizations have shunned this behavior?

I have a co-worker who is a male homosexual. My first reaction to him was (silently) "whatever you do, please don't touch me." Just the thought gave me the shivers.

Don’t know offhand, but when I read it, I assumed that it meant any kind of activity that breaks the skin or is likely to break the skin so that blood is released.

Skin abrading sex?Is that code(euphemism)for unprotected sex?No, it's a euphemism for anal sex, protected or unprotected.
The lining of the rectum tears far more easily than does that of the vagina. A "receiving" person can get tears and lesions in their rectum even when their partner uses a condom.
Then they subsequently self infect themselves with their own feces.
Pleasant, isn't it?

Anal sex just doesn't sound as romantic when you put it that way.

HA HA HA HA HA HA...NICE. But the sorry facts of this is that, like AIDS (Formerly known as GRID or Gay related imminodeficiency disease), The name will be changed into something that seems like the disease was caused by some person who breathed toxic city air and the spread will be by a lack of federal funding. Mark my words.

Word to the wise: Never accept any form of food from this guy (and others like him) that you don't have to peel, uncork, tear open, or break to eat. IOW, you can accept an orange but not an apple; a Hersey bar but not a bakery muffin; a can of soda but not a glass of soda; an unshelled hard boiled egg but not a deviled egg, etc.
Better a live pessimist than a dead optimist.

(CWA) cares deeply for the health and well being of all Americans, CWA is sending letters inviting the Human Rights Campaign (HRC), the National Gay and Lesbian Task Force, GLAAD and Lambda Legal to put aside profound ideological differences with CWA. The new task force will be called Rectally Excited Chaps Totally Unliking Mrsa, or R.E.C.T.U.M.

I believe it is “code” for using a common human “exit” as an “entrance” for a male body part. I would think that might “abrade” just a bit, but I am happy to say that I am neither an expert nor an amateur in that regard.

"Now's the time for us all to come together," concluded Barber. "Let's do what needs to be done to help curtail this regrettable MRSA outbreak."
Actually it seems that coming together is what their problem is...
