“With all the talk about the mainstream media’s blackout of Duncan Hunter, seems Free Republic would do everything they could to at least MENTION all the Republican Candidates.”

FR has mentioned all of the Republicans.

The fact is, ron paul is NOT a Republican. He is a political opportunist who denounced the Republican party and called President Reagan a traitor when he (paul) ran for president as a libertarian back in 1988.

After getting his a** handed to him in the election, he came crawling back to the Republican Party so he can continue his political career.

I do not believe that Fred will endorse anyone, but if he did it would not be McCain. I think Fred would endorse the candidate he believes would best advance the conservative cause. That candidate is Mitt Romney. My vote will be going to Mitt next Tuesday.

I can understand why many FredHeads have not made a decision yet. I do hope all Florida FredHeads who haven't voted will watch the debate tomorrow, review records and choose whom they believe will best carry forward the conservative principles Fred fought for. I happen to believe that candidate is Mitt Romney.

I also hope that those who are giving up and not voting or voting for a candidate who has withdrawn will reconsider. Do they think their “favorite” candidate would stay home or cast a vote that accomplishes nothing? I am sure Fred will be voting on Super Tuesday and I believe he most likely will vote for Mitt Romney.

That also sounds like a plan and could work.

Interestingly enough, I understand Ron Paul introduced the first resolution to actually declare war upon Iraq. Congress refused to consider it, instead opting for an ambiguous route of ‘authorizing the President to use military action’ against Saddam. Declaring war was too strong a term for them...

There are many problems with Ron Paul in regards to him gaining the Presidency. But one can argue ALL of the candidates have that disability.

It comes down to a very simple question.

What does the US Constitution mean to you?

To me, it is second only to the Bible. And like the Bible in today’s society, it is ignored when convenient. I swore to do violence in defense of that Founding document, if warranted. Well, many here seem to be willing to use that august document as toilet paper in the name of political expediency. And then have the gall to pretend themselves Conservatives, and ridicule all those who actually believe in the concepts this Nation was Founded upon, calling those views foolish.

Ron Paul wasn’t a pacifist when the war started. He was willing to take it to the mat. What changed? He hasn’t explained it. He needs to.

I noticed Mitt giving Fred the same starry-eyed gaze during the last debate that I give Fred everytime I see him on TV. I’m thinking Mitt has a man-crush. I’d like to believe he would offer Fred a position in his administration should he be elected.

I’m voting for him tomorrow in any case. His grasp of economics is a plus since it is shaping up to be the top issue. I also hope Giuliani does well as I think a strong showing on his part will eliminate Huckabee and possibly McCain.

I would like to think that Fred is a better man than some twofaced jerk that it would take do such an ignorant thing.

BUT, if he does, ask me what I think of him, then.

Because Huckster is a fiscal liberal nanny stater and foreign policy doofus at best, a complete idiot at worst.

His particular mix of theocracy and liberal idiocy gives free thinking people the creeps. If you’d look past the religion you’d see that.

You people need to get it together and look at the big picture. We have to pick a candidate, support said candidate and be unified or the democrats take it all. Do you want a large majority of democrats in the house and senate? You eggheads told me it was better to lose in 2006 ,said it would’nt be any different then have republicans in control. You were wrong. Now suck it up,vote for the man closest to your position in the primary and stop your damn belly aching! If I had the time and a broom I’d whack every last one of you in the ***!

I have seen that video before. It shocked me the first time I saw it. Now I know it’s just Mitt delivering the liberal line just like his father, and the rest of the Rockefeller Republicans. That’s the way he is. But I also know that not everyone who is voting for him knows this. If somehow he gets the nomination, Hillary will have a field day.

I live in the South. I do not look forward to all the billboards, posters, signs, and TV ads with Mitt saying over and over again how he supported Barney Frank’s ENDA bill. He was for abortion before he was against abortion. He was against Reagan before he was for Reagan. I’ll see people in Flipper suits, and flip flops everywhere I go.

The worse part is Hillary won’t be doing these things. There will be some organization similar to Swiftboat for Truth making sure every single conservative knows that Mitt wants sodomites in the military and as boy scout leaders taking boys out into the woods. They won’t even have to make anything up. They’ll just use videos of him and his own words. I’m sure the liberals have archives of the stuff. I’m sure they have operatives in Taxachusetts with things they’ve been saving for years. I’m not looking forward to this election at all.

You’re right about the liberals. Too many of them around here these days. Way too many of them running as republicans.

Back to the kiddie table. The adults are talking.

Cheap shot. He brought documentary proof that Mitt Romney is pro-abortion and pro-homosexual "marriage".

Romney took the pledge and climbed into bed with the gays and lesbians and gender-fems. Now, just in the last few months, he protesteth -- bull hockey, he'll screw everyone again next fall. That's his record.

Live with it.

There's actually a secret groundswell of support for John Kasich here, but he's not running, so no one mentions it.

A secret groundswell? That's funny. Does that make it an undergroundswell of support?

Nobody is buying your lies and distortions. How many times do you have to be told that?

Nobody has to worry about "buying lies and distortions."

Mitt Romnet is gladly paying the tab for his lies and distortions out of his own pocket. (As you so often remind us.)

All I did was post actual photos (and one chart).

I'm going to support Keyes in the primary. I know he isn't electable - he lets his mouth get in the way sometimes. But at least I'll be supporting a conservative.

When the general election comes, I'll be voting for whoever gets the nomination, unless it is Rudy or Ronnie.

I would be interested in why he has change his position too. I guess that I am more sensitive about major shifts like that.

Read Carl Cameron’s column here, and it says his whole candidacy was to position himself for VEEP after all. that irritates
Wow. I would have thought you would know better than to believe anything "Campaign Carl" has to say.
"Campaign Carl" also said that Fred was going to endorse John McCain.
Methinks "Campaign Carl" has just been campaigning for someone in the race, and it hasn't been Fred.
