It is true though—it was probably the major reason JFK was elected, a real contrast. I*m old enough to remember that. Wasn*t very political then, too young .

I was a kid and watched both Conventions... and as a kid I wanted kennedy to lose. I also remember later in life, watching the dims and hippies in Chicago get their heads handed to them. Man that some some great times... my Dad and I enjoyed that more than you can imagine. I loved that a dim would smack the lefties. I was hoping for a bit of that action from the dims this year. Now I think we may see it on the floor at the Republican convention.
