Republican National Committee (RNC) Chairman Mike Duncan believes Republicans can beat either of the two top Democrats racing for their partys nomination.
For Sen. Hillary Rodham Clinton (N.Y.), Duncan says it comes down to trust. Sen. Barack Obamas (Ill.) weakness, on the other hand, is his experience, according to Duncan.
Duncan continually brought up Clinton and Obama during a Wednesday morning breakfast with reporters sponsored by The Christian Science Monitor. Pointing to internal poll numbers, the RNC chairman repeatedly insisted that no matter who Republicans nominate, the Democratic candidate can be defeated in November.

She will never, ever get MEN to vote for her. I am not talking about Rush Limbaugh’s “New Castrati”. I am talking about Normal Men.
Her crusty pantsuitness’s voice is like chalk on a board. It is the sound etched deep into the primordial areas of Man’s Brain.
It is the sound of a woman who is very, VERY angry at him.
Her voice is shrill...and resonates a perfect, exquisitely awful dissonance at certain frequencies.
Primordial Man first heard that sound when he dragged his filthy, muddy ass into that clean, dry cave and was lit into by Primordial Woman because he didn’t clean the swamp ooze off of his feet, or the Wooly Mammoth guts off of his malodorous fur skin.
That is the voice of Hillary Clinton. She tries to hide it. Oh, she tries sooooo hard. But no matter how hard she tries, there are times she opens that mouth and every man with that Primordial Man inside him, hears Her voice.
Of course, men with the Primordial woman inside them are just fine with her. They LIKE it.
Romney’s inconsistencies are way too many, as with all the remaining GOP candidates. I never can get past the abortion issue with him. A practicing Mormon who supported the killing of the unborn.
I saw neither numbers nor strategy. Misleading title.
Actual title, not mine.
"Get over it", how?
I absolutely refuse to aid and abet the further dilution of Conservatism by voting for just anything and everything that hangs an (R) by its name.
Yeah, I know it wasn’t your title. I just like to criticize stupid reporters.
It ia true...The only problem is the Republican’s don’t have a true Republican in the race...Deja Vu!
“Misleading title” The MSM wouldn’t haven’t any other way...
That’s the way journalism is supposed to work, isn’t it? /sarc off
havent = have it
I wonder where this guy is buying his dope? Man,Talk about clueless.
You have got to be kidding? Where have you been? The republican party has been taken over by pansie rinos?You can have the gop and good luck with it.
Dont get my hopes up.Darth vader would make the libs heads explode and man oh man would I love to see that.
I looked into the abortion issue as far as Romney is concerned and didn’t like the fact that there appeared to be a flip-flop. But the more I looked I came to this conclusion.
When Romney was running for Governor he stated that he would support the law....and a woman’s right to choose.
I did not find that he was FOR abortions. He has since made it clear that he is opposed to abortion. I was a FredHead from the beginning but now must make another choice. When I look at the remaining candidates I find Mitt Romney to be my next best choice to move the conservative cause forward. My vote will go to Romney next Tuesday.
[Rush is a Conservative not necessarily a Republican.]
But just what party would he run under? Sem? Ya, sure. Libertarian? Not a chance!
Sem=dem
LLS
My sentiments exactly!
Besides, other than keeping Clinton out of the White House; what have we conservatives gained by supporting McCain or any other left leaning candidate?
I say if there is no fundamental difference in the current 2 party offerings, then why bother to vote at all?
