It’s not a problem here in Florida and doubt it will be in Texas.

In Arizona you can carry a gun pretty much anywhere, on your person, so long as it is clearly seen.

If you legally bought the gun, you can carry it anywhere not prohibited (like a government building).
Of course no one actually does it, but it is still legal. a remnant of the Old West.

It’s bad enough that drivers have weapons, but now even the weapon drivers have weapons?

So, it’s open carry only without a permit?
Is there a concealed with permit law?

“If they have a problem with this law then they probably just have a problem with the Second Amendment,” Mr. Isett said.
“We finally came to the conclusion,” Mr. Isett said, “that if we were going to stop prosecuting attorneys from advising their law enforcement agencies to arrest everyone with a gun, that this was the only way we were going to be able to do it.”
Nicknamed the “Carjacking Law” by some, it is designed in part to give law-abiding drivers the right to carry a gun for protection.
The law allows Texans to carry guns in their cars, even without a concealed handgun license.

I love Texas!! My God what people. When I am there, if you try to hijack my car and harm me,I will blow your brains out. You might think twice while the brain wave will connect to cells.

Oh come on. It's been legal in Texas since the 19th century to have a gun in your vehicle (or on your horse or buggy) if you are travelling across county lines.

The mightiest of weapons is truth.
And everyone knows youre not permitted to
enter a Government building with a weapon.

Last time I went to the west slope of the Rockies, people were going around with guns on their hips. Don’t know if it’s still that way.

We've had the same law here in Missouri for a couple of years now, and the streets have not run red with blood.

It’s been like that here in GA since dirt. Well, at least 15 or 20 years.
What’s the problem?
