McCain Advisor: "Think Mexico First"

"We are betting that the Mexican-American population in the United States... will think Mexico FIRST! ...But now I want the third generation, the seventh generation, I want them all to think 'Mexico FIRST'," so said Dr. Juan Hernandez on the popular broadcast Nightline, June 7, 2001.

Anyone who has seen the dual-citizened Hernandez in media interviews knows that his rhetoric is offered with forked tongue smoothness. As a former advisor to Mexico's former president Vicente Fox, his credentials for having less than 100% loyalty to America's interests is easy to point out.

With the Florida state flag as a backdrop, Republican presidential hopeful Sen. John McCain, R-Ariz., speaks at a campaign event at the Borini Theater, Kings Point Clubhouse, in Sun City Center, Fla., Saturday, Jan. 26, 2008. (AP Photo/Charles Dharapak) Related Media: VIDEO: McCain Talks Tough on Insurance and FEMA He has in his own words defended Mexican bus operators bringing illegal aliens to America. He is on record as supporting driver's licenses for illegals in the U.S., in addition he has advocated vociferously for easier methods for illegals to send money earned in the U.S. via special banking agreements to Mexican citizens, as well as advocating for the implementation of mortgage programs for illegals who are working in America. Sum it up by saying that on nearly every issue in which the American interest was at odds with the interest of Mexican illegals, or Mexican nationals - Hernandez sided against America.

So why should anyone care?

Well for starters he has been closely related to the McCain campaign for President 2008. Which is troubling for many reasons.

Dr. Hernandez's presence, advice, and influence on John McCain demonstrates just how out of touch the Senator still is.

Senator McCain has served our nation, in some ways even admirably, and for that we say "Thank You!"

Unfortunately that is simply not enough to be our next President, and American citizens patriots should easily understand why.

I wish there was some way to get this information about McCain out to the voters at large. The illegal-loving media, any of them, aren’t going to do it.

I can’t figure out what the goal is for McCain or Dr. Hernandez. The one thing that McCain has mastered is revenge, is this what Hernandez is after as well?

I’m probably as against McCain as our nominee as anyone, but to be accurate and not oversell his failings, Hernandez is a “non-paid” advisor.

Hernandez is an American by birth(he always claimed dual citizenship), he mother was a resident of Fort Worth and his father was a Mexican rancher. They are white and have money.

He was close to Fox, and as a professor at UTD, he arranged for Governor Fox's speech at UTD, and arranged the original meeting between Gov Fox and Texas Gov Bush at that time.

As president, Fox appointed Hernandez to a created position in which he traveled extensively in the US soliciting affluent Mexican Americans to invest in Mexico.

This activity ran afoul of Jorge Castenada, who was the Mexican Secretary of State. Hernandez's job was eliminated and replaced by the local Councils located in many US cities and made up affluent and politically connected Mexican Americans.

It seems that our national leadership (and much of our local leadership) are are fully committed to surrendering the United States to another country. It’s bad enough if they surrendered to a first-world country, like, say, France. But to surrender to a third-world toilet populated by miscreants, which is Mexico, is beyond disgusting.

And political correctness has ALOT to do with this.
Common sense is lacking in our country today.

Name me one country that permits what we endure with illegals...one. What other country educates, pays for health care, and does nothing about illegal aliens?
Please name one.

More pro-illegal anti-American nonsense from John McCain

He thinks because he sat in a prison camp in Nam...he can crap on America with his pro-illegal anti-American agenda

The GOP will rot if this man is their nominee

Thank you for the background. The political class of Mexico seems to have a whole lot in common with our political class.

Dr. Juan Hernandez is known in his Mexican home town of Guanajuato as Johnny....not Juan. He is an outspoken Evangelical. I’ve met the guy, he is likeable, like so many public people are. But my gripe and constant battle cry to him was LETS FIX MEXICO SO PEOPLE IN GUANAJUATO, don’t have to go to Ft. Worth to make minimum wage!

There is a lot of mis-understanding and mis-information as to why Mexico promotes dual citizenship and tries to keep close ties with Mexicans in the US.

The reality is that Mexico doesn't perceive the high rates of immigration(legal and illegal) as permanent. That they are not giving these workers to the US, only loaning them.

In time, Mexican economic/political reform will go forward. Mexican economic opportunity will increase. The Mexican birthrate will continue to fall. Eventually, the will be no Mexicans available to immigrate and Mexicans will begin returning to Mexico.

This concept is widely accepted among demographers.

If Hillary makes it to the White House again, it will be because of so-called conservatives like you who chose McCain to run against her instead of Romney.

Regarding McCain, Rush Limbaugh is right. If your little friend gets the nomination, it will destroy the Republican Party. I know that I will never vote for McCain, under any circumstances, and I also know that I am far from alone in that sentiment.

I despise McCain. Absolutely despise him.

"LETS FIX MEXICO"

Way back then, Hernandez was very influential on Gov Fox to govern Guanajuato as a "nation" rather than a state. To promote Guanajuato trade with the US. And to promote trade other than transnational trade.

Why the hell does America allow dual-citizenship in the first place? This practice should be ended.
