Rasmussen :
“Romney leads 42% to 22% among conservative voters while McCain leads 43% to 25% among moderates.”

*Moderates is a euphemism for liberals.

It is that lack of anger management that has become the hallmark distinction of McStain....

To me, the worst of all worlds would be Hillary-McCain. They’re both past their “use by” date, and I’m just sick of seeing both of them. I wish I could give a better explanation, one with deep political thought, but they’re both like the Burger King gay King. I don’t care what they’re doing when I see them on TV, I want to put my foot through the screen.

******************

Heh. Never discount the "gut" feeling. :)

Haven’t cast my FL vote yet ....but it will be for ROMNEY !!

I think the poll is right ....all my FL Republican friends will be voting for ROMNEY too !!

McCain might feel good about his Crist and Martinez endorsements but I think it was the kiss of death !!

Crist and Martinez are NOT as popular as the Media makes them out to be !! Crist’s Amendment #1 (Real Estate Tax solution) will be going down to DEFEAT too !!

I feel bad about Rudy ...but ROMNEY is my man !!

With Fred out ....his votes go to Romney NOT McCain !!

Ditto. I didn’t start with Mitt, but he’s definitely the most palatable of the remaining contenders and would have my vote.

Okay, heads up. Several things are important here:

1) McCain’s campaign is staffed by professionals. They saw this effect unfolding before we got this data. That is why they pulled the trigger to try desperately to redirect the debate to Iraq when they knew the talk shows this morning would be filled with Economic Stimulus Package.

2) They also orchestrated the Crist endorsement with the same scheduling need, though certainly that needed to happen before Tuesday regardless.

3) The Romney team is also staffed by professionals so their response was to undermine McCain’s Straight Talk mantra by going right after the word “dishonest” and it is THAT word that is getting all the play this morning. Brilliant tactical response.

4) The reason it is brilliant is that team of cynical business trained people recognized that the MSM is on the hunt for ratings. A dispassionate discussion of Iraq, that has been squeezed dry of all interest, does not have ratings boosting potential like a fight over whether McCain is dishonest. They KNEW the MSM would latch on that word.

5) The McCain pros will know either today or late tonight if they were successful when the night’s polling sample is collected. If they attack again with something else tomorrow, we’ll know how it played.

Look at these bozos running... they all look like crap...

Not one of them looks good except Romney. None of these bozos have ever done anything that wasn’t connected with some sort of government excess.

Romney doesn’t NEED the job, he can do just fine on his own in the private sector. The rest would be groveling for chump change if it wasn’t for some type of government work or insider contacts with a state enterprise.

I have seen lots of convoluted, meandering definitions of “conservatism,” but when the rubber hits the road, who would be left standing with no worries in THE PRIVATE SECTOR based solely on their own merit???

Romney is the only one of them...

The last thing the Democrats want is a tall, vibrant, healthy man like Mitt Romney standing next to their short, fat old hag during the national debates.

I must have woken up in a parallel universe. A liberal from Massachusetts who suddenly “sees” the Republican light and pom-poms come out for the guy. Amazing.

It doesn't take a rocket scientist to figure out that Obama and Clinton will be running together and MYTH WILLARD just isn't going to be able to beat that combo.

Keep dreaming though.
