South Carolina Loss Jars Clinton to Ponder Pull Out by Scott Ott for ScrappleFace · No Comments
(2008-01-27) After a crushing defeat in Saturdays South Carolina primary, the Democrat who campaigned most vigorously, coming into the state with the strongest organization and the best name recognition, now ponders whether to stay in the race through Super Tuesday.
Associates of former President Bill Clinton privately tell reporters they would not be surprised if he announced, as early as this week, that hes dropping his White House bid.
Hes not getting the kind of traction he expected, said one unnamed Clinton campaign insider. I guess people just arent ready for the kind of change Bill Clinton represents.
Officially, the campaign still says hes in it for the long haul, and in it to win, but off the record many acknowledge that he lost momentum shortly after he opened his mouth.
If the former president does drop out, experts believe the most likely beneficiary would be New York Sen. Hillary Clinton.
I don’t know and beg for illumination on this (also, I never mean to be crude, but BJeffC is crude and one cannot avoid the sleaziness of his past behavior when discussing his current behavior), but I don’t recall that Bill ever had it in.
He is a narcissist and misogynist as far as I know. It’s all about Bill, Bill’s big O, he cannot shut up, and even his supporters are getting sick of him. Little wonder HRC hates men.
Link BUMP! LOL!
If he’d pull out and stay out then he wouldn’t have to drop anything, especially trou.
The Maranatha Baptist Bible College ad is a nice touch.
I used to date her...
random for random. :o)
What does “H4X” stand for?
Last time a Clinton pulled out he left a DNA sample.
It mean hacks or cheat as in a cheat code for a video game.
