I hate to admit it, but I have been thinking that this is an option. If only to teach Republicans a lesson, that open primaries are not ok, they should have never allowed this Clinton fabricated form of cheating. Have you noticed that open primaries started around the time the Clinton’s were hitting the national scene? I don’t think it is any coincidence. I am very disappointed in the Republican Leadership for not seeing this coming. I could see it coming and I’m just some stupid female from California. I am so disappointed in the leadership!

Rudy always was A POS, as if people didn't already know that.

Gosh, just a few short weeks ago some FReepers were saying Rudy was the only candidate who could beat Hillary, and well, he didn't even need my vote because he'll clean up in the general election even if the social conservatives all stay home. :-)

Sadly, I have to admit McCain really isn't much better.

Well, I would never have said that since I was on the “stop Rudy” ping list.

By the way, your small print is correct, but McCain may be even worse. LOL

Unsurprising.

I see little difference between McCain and Romney, so I’ll just celebrate that Giuliani may be out.

An understanding?

From one Rino to another?

Yeah, pretty easy understanding. Is that why Fred dropped out too? He did endorse McQueeg (I love that epithet) in 2000. And, let me guess, Bloomberg will not enter the race if John-boy is the nominee, because then there would be no need to take votes away from the Republican.

Ain't politics grand?

Rudy Giuliani: “I’m not running and I’m supporting John McCain”
by Mosheh Oinounou

Burbank, CA — Rudy Giuliani announced that he will be withdrawing from the presidential race and will be endorsing Sen. John McCain during a media availability on his plane this afternoon. He landed in Burbank, California at about 1:45 pm,Pacific Time and is headed to the Reagan Library to make the formal announcement at 3pm.

Some highlights:

“I called some of our strong supporters and thanked them earlier today and also told them what I think you all now know, which is I am gonna endorse John McCain. It’s disappointing to lose a race for president because you believe you’re the best candidate, but I had made it clear before I had to make this decision who I thought the other best candidate was. I think I made it clear during a debate that if I had not been running, I would be supporting John McCain. So I’m not running, and I’m supporting John McCain and he is far away the best person to be the commander in chief of the United States.”
