If John McCain rolls on Super Tuesday then it is time for all Freepers living in remaining primary states to cross-over in your respective primaries and vote for Obama on the dem ballot. It's our best opportunity to stop her because she will crush McCain in November.
Without saying it, then we could possibly vote for this nut with the possibility that the old codger might wind up giving us a viable pres. after all. May sound a little callous, but hell, we all got to go sometime.
How is that guaranteed? We're entering a recession that'll probably be over by 2012, and Hillary could run as America's economic savior who cured the "Bush recession".
Somewhere in a far off cave in Tora Bora ... I think there is the sound of evil laughter....
Same here.
The liberal Sunday morning talking heads are all trying to convince us that McCain is the only one running as a republican that can win in November.
Isn’t it considerate of them to be so concerned about us making the correct choice?
/sarcasm off/
Why are you pushing for Obama and not Mitt?
Peddling Pot smoking is a huge issue, Pot smoking is the first step into larger drug problems !
There is not a rehab professional out there that will tell you anything different. The guy is reckless. By the way,
Liquor is not illegal and is not a controlled substance that carries federal jail time.
I like McCain/Gingrich its not impossible...
The 'republicans' that are running don't represent my views.
WE'll do anything to keep the criminal Clintons fron the WH
You dream.
No pub is winning this election without 110% broken glass republicans, out in force and solidarity to work their butts off for him, and GOTV in record numbers.
We did all that in 04, rallying around an incumbent that we really liked - more than he deserved possibly - and still we came within one state of getting beaten by a nobody liberal trash Senator from an ultra liberal, cobalt blue state.
McCain is not getting anything like that, and he is going to lose big, and so are the minor candidates.
A conservative backlash and gains in Congress if Hillary becomes President is a virtual guarantee.
I despise the Clintons and McCain equally. But even as a conservative I still have to ask myself, which is worse for the country a leftist or a crazy man with nuclear weapons?
Eww...the third rail...no, that is never talked about openly, and especially among Black Congressional ldrs, they act as if it is not happening..
Americans who have African ancestry are not well served by their leadership...at all...
I think LA is on the Brink of becoming a Majority Latino city and black folks are leaving their old neighborhoods in droves.
DU infiltrator there I suspect...
Any Republican that says Obama speaks the truth is simply not a Republican ...
Obama is a dangerous panderer...
Let Hitlery into the White House, and it’s even money that there won’t BE an election in 2012. Nixon floated the idea in ‘72 (’’national emergency’’, dontchaknow), but his advisers, thank Heaven, were appalled. Hitlery will seize on this type of scam in a NY taxicab minute.
There are a lot of reasons to suggest why either Hitlery or Obamamama can be beaten in the general election, but that is certainly not one of them.
Once one of them becomes the nominee, you will see the Dim money flowing to them, from both legitimate and illegitimate sources. They will have plenty of money for the general.
No, a vote for McCain is a vote for a doddering lunatic.
That boggles my mind about women. Sigh.
“Why are you pushing for Obama and not Mitt?”
Once more with feeling.
IF McCain wins big on Super Tuesday and effectively wraps up the GOP nomination, I am saying that as conservatives we have an obligation in the remaining primary states to cross-over and make our votes matter for conservatives by causing Hillary to fight it out all the way to the convention. It bloodies her up and forces her to spend valuable time and money fighting Obama rather than sitting back and shredding McCain over the airwaves the way her husband did to Bob Dole in 1996.
I’m not a liberal. I would never vote for a liberal in a general election. It’s about trying to level the playing field some for an under-whelming GOP nominee.
Lots of folks on this thread are either not reading the original post or are in need of their first cup of coffeee for the day.
