Clinton health plan may mean tapping pay
Associated Press via YahooNews ^ | Associated Press | Charles Babington

Democrat Hillary Rodham Clinton said Sunday she might be willing to garnish the wages of workers who refuse to buy health insurance to achieve coverage for all Americans.

The New York senator has criticized presidential rival Barack Obama for pushing a health plan that would not require universal coverage. Clinton has not always specified the enforcement measures she would embrace, but when pressed on ABC's "This Week," she said: "I think there are a number of mechanisms" that are possible, including "going after people's wages, automatic enrollment."

To see how liberals push their morality on others, just look at the deductions on your paycheck.

The issue here is that the liberals equate health insurance with health care. Anyone can go into a doctor’s office and pay for the services directly, without having any insurance.

It might be interesting to see how much $$ is being given to the Democrats by companies that sell health insurance.

McCain, who opposed President Bush's first two tax cuts, now says Congress should make the reductions permanent, and that there also should be further tax reductions for business investments.

McCain just can't be trusted to hold steady when the political winds are against him. How can anyone think Washington knows how to spend my money better than I do? The GOP can't even hold its own in line on something as fundamental as a tax cut. I am so disappointed in the GOP lately, and I don't think I'm alone. The GOP better wake up quick lest they find us bailing out in droves.

Hitlery is an evil, sinister, corrupt candidate; a sick joke and beyond scary as are all the others, IMO. Our country is circling the drain thanks to Liberals, RINOs, and the media and Americans are sleeping cluelessly through it. I never, never, never thought we would throw away our future and never get to this point in my lifetime. In my opinion, no one running for the Presidency will take this nation anywhere but the toilet bowl.

Ah. So it seems that Hillary's made it plain that she intends to dip into my paycheck to fund the health care for bums and illegals.

I shouldn't be surprised. It's no different than what Juan McCain has in store for us with his amnesty plan for illegals.

Exactly. This observation suggests that we should work toward harmonizing the laws in Mexico and here, so that migration of people and businesses is simple and above board. It cannot just be that Mexicans migrate here, but we do not migrate there.

Sounds awfully similar to Romneycare to me.

But then again, I’ve been told the past few weeks that there are no differences between McCain and Hillary. Of course when it comes to garnishing people’s wages to pay for health care for all, Hillary is proposing doing just that. I know McCain wouldn’t take YOUR money to pay for someone else’s health care.

Can't say you weren't warned...

People were more than adequately warned about these people in 1992 and elected them president not once, but twice.

The fact that Hillary Clinton is not only a candidate for president but has actually gotten votes should be enough for all of us to seriously consider that we may not have a republic much longer.

And McLame proposes giving a $5,000 tax credit for health insurance. So where's the money going to come for that? Hmmmm? Sounds like either more deficit or higher taxes to me.

If the Repubs nominate a conservative at their convention, I'm there. If they nominate a socialist, as it appears they are preparing to do, no thanks.

I'm not in agreement with anything Hitlery does, but let me tell you, I sacrificed part of pay increases for health insurance. In other words I payed for my own health insurance. So have many Americans and most were done during labor negotiations. It has been happening for years, perhaps over 30 years. YOU GET NOTHING FREE. Now, how do you want to do it.

It would be nice if a few of you that paid your way would let us know.
