National Super Tuesday poll shows dramatic Democratic shift
CNN ^ | February 04, 2008 | Paul Steinhauser

Democratic Sen. Hillary Clinton is losing ground to Sen. Barack Obama in a national CNN/Opinion Research Corp. poll released on the eve of critical Super Tuesday presidential primaries and caucuses.

The two are virtually tied in Monday's survey, which shows the New York senator has lost a comfortable national lead she's held for months over Obama and other rivals.

The survey also shows Arizona Sen. John McCain as the clear Republican front-runner.

Obama, who trounced Clinton in January's South Carolina primary, garnered 49 percent of registered Democrats in Monday's poll, while Clinton trailed by just three points, a gap well within the survey's 4.5 percentage point margin of error.

"Coming out of his overwhelming victory in South Carolina and followed quickly by his Kennedy family endorsements, Obama clearly has the momentum in this campaign," said Bill Schneider, CNN's senior political analyst.

LOL thats right... a tear here or there could make all the difference... However, I much rather run against Hillary then Obama..

Somebody better tell Obama that all his lofty Rhetoric about division in D.C. and how he can bring the country together is pure B.S. stop trying to turn politics into a civil rights issue... You know... I am the victim and “I have a Dream that one day all the Republicans and the Democrats will come together and...

1. Blame George W. Bush the evil man for everything bad.

2. Allow women to choose abortion over life even when they go into labor.. .hell even after the babies born (Whats the difference anyway)

3. Allow all the sick and enfeebled to become well through science like Cloning and Embryonic Stem Cells...

4. Make Health care manadatory for all by taxing their wages or garnishing them at work... In fact lets take all personal responsiblity away from Americans and lets let the Government start granting the American Dream...

.... And if you disagree with these positions because we intend to feed and help the poor and inpoverished then you are the problem... You are the intolerant ... You are the divisive.. You are the non-Patriot... You are UnAmerican...

Believe me this hypnosis is selling well the the Young, Dumb, Uninformed, Uneducated idiots that make up a large portion of the electorate.

Why isn't Hillary going public with Obama’s involvement with his black separatist church who supports Farrakhan. It would destroy him.

I'm ready to be flamed. I called the Giants before the game started last night, and the same upset is in the air for candidates. It will be Romney vs. Obama.

This is great! The clintons have already played the race card. They’ll soon give their black-ops crowd the okay to use the “H” word - Hussein.

I believe that in less than five years the definition of a recession will once again be changed. By many indicators we have been in one since early October. I think it was masked by Christmas and the way the numbers are calculated. The bedrock change in the import/export model has also masked the real problems. There is real pain already in some regions.

Shame on me, but I haven’t been to a caucus in 12 years. Tomorrow I will be there and vote for Romney. I’m energized by this “shove McCain down our throats” by the GOP.

It may be too little, too late, but I’m shocked into action by McCain’s rise to candidacy.

“However, I much rather run against Hillary then Obama.”

That is a fatal error. The road is littered with people who thought it would be easy to run against the KKKlintons. As much as I hate the KKKlintons, they have a rare mastery of political campaigning and a near supernatural ability to withstand damage. Hell, The Stain was IMPEACHED and he is still looked on with awe and admiration by millions. If Hellary wins the nomination, look for Stain-man to be out everyday bashing republicans and driving the RATS to a frenzy. The media will help as always. In contrast, Obama will be a joy to run against.

I was asked a few days ago if I would rather have the Patriots win (I'm a big Patriots fan) the Super Bowl or have Mitt Romney win on Super Tuesday.

Without hesitation, I chose Romney. The future of our country is much more important than a mere football game.

So I'm hoping that Romney completes the bargain for me tomorrow night.

This economic ignorance is INTENTIONAL.

The left has to keep the public misinformed and ignorant on basic economics,

otherwise, no one would EVER support them.

I find it fascinating that everyone is focused on how McCain is not *loved* by a majority of Republican voters.

When is the media going to report on how much Hilary is not *loved* by decent Democrats - and yes there are a few - *hereditary* Dems. They need to be shown that the Democratic Party is not their fathers’ party.

Good point. The problem is that the conservative Democrat is as dead as the dodo, thats why you don’t hear about them. The MSM does report that the reason many RAT voters dont like hellary is that she is not liberal enough, especially on the war.

Obama can beat McCain.

Obama can cover lacking economic specifics under the hype about his skin color, and he doesn’t have the Clinton ‘hate’ factor working against him.

I don’t know I see the Hillary as a polarizing figure in the electorate.. IOW moderates are turned off by her idiot positions like recently she said she would support “Garnishing wages to force employees to pay health insurance”... That gets a resounding boo from 80 percent of America and makes her look retarted.

OTOH... Obama’s Rhetoic is lofty and meaningless.. “Ask not what your country... and all that horse hockey... So when he is screwing us he is using alot of KY...

The hypnotic part that people are falling for including some REPUBLICANS... (according to him anyway) is simply this ... Use the theme of Civil Rights movement and make it about the underprivleged, underclassed, poor, victim.. LIBERALS and the Overreaching, Tyranical REPUBLICANS George W. Bush...

The Problem is that the country is at war and rhetoric like Obama’s is made for less dangerous times.... We cannot be led down this path that if we are not aligned with Obama we are called, divisive, intolerant, hateful...

We lose in a landslide if it comes to this...

I am all for better data. But we should be comparing apples to apples. Unfortunately, the agenda of the reporter often comes into play when interpreting economic issues, particularly when reporting regional results.

Eventually, they will just decide that we are in a Recession if there is a Republican in the White House (see R and R! How convenient), and it will be Happy Days Are Here Again when the Democrats are in charge.

The counteroffensive begins tomorrow.

I’ll be supporting Romney Super Tuesday, no going to sit by and let McDole and his elite supporters hand the election over.

I'm thinking that CNN now favors Obama/

As Hillary continues to sink, more and more 'rats' will abandon ship....and with these goofy liberals, it can happen at the drop of a hat hint.

Once the liberal trait of 'monkey see monkey do' kicks in, Hillary becomes yesterday's news.
