John McCain just called. It sure was fun hanging up on him.

Everything Mitt Romney has touched has turned to gold.

Believe that if you want.

I don't. You're way too far gone to even reach.

I'm going to support Romney, but only because the alternatives are far, far worse. This country has a chance of surviving Mitt Romney (and I was a big George Romney supporter, way back when).

Yeah, what you said.

I think it’s Romney by default for me.
I wanted Fred or Duncan, but neither had a chance, and a vote for either of them now is a throwaway vote.
Huck is too liberal and needs to drop out.
McPain is a HELL NO for me.
Paul is a throwaway vote — the incessant pronouncements of Ron Paul’s supporters notwithstanding.

So Mitt it is. I’m not too happy about the state of affairs this election cycle, to say the least. But I do like what Mitt’s been saying, thought he schooled McPain in the last debate, and all I hope for is that he actually BELIEVES what he is saying and will act accordingly.

Unless Romney is totally defeated Tues. Huck will not drop out. He’ll stay around to continue his efforts to derail Romney - Right to the Convention if necessary. A spiteful, disingenuous man masquerading as a man of Faith.

I won't go willingly when McCain and his Gang of 14 plan their new attempts to shove amnesty down our throats. They'll have to take this Californian kicking and screaming...I'll definitely be voting Mitt tomorrow.

A good post. Thanks for your efforts.

“Well, you’re voting for the WORST of the 3. Romney’s still a lying con man who has you hoodwinked.”

Hey, Mitt is a full time Republican and the most conservative of the three. You are proving the theory about there being an alternate universe. You are living proof of it.

It’s looking good for Romney in California.

True but watch the mccain shills in the media. They'll be blasting the East Coast results non-stop and telling everyone it's all over, stain has sowed up the nomination. Anything to demoralize the Romney supporters in California.

Chopping off both hands is a better alternative than voting for Romney.

We'll miss your posts, then.

Seriously, Hillary, Obama, McCain and the Huckster?

I'd rather weasels rip my flesh.

I thought about voting for Fred, and then I tried to figure how that would play out. Suppose I did... and all the other folks in my district did the same. Fred would get 3 delegates. Will he get enough to become a real player? I don’t believe so. Take it a step further and assume we end up with a brokered convention... Fred has a few delegates to be part of the horsetrading. Where will his delegates go? My bet is they’d go to McCain, the guy he stood beside for years in the Senate and whose positions closely mimicked his own. End game... I’d be voting for McCain, a man I loathe just as much as Arnold.

Both McCain and Huckabee have jumped on the global warming bandwagon, endorsing the criminal cap-and-trade program that will do more to destroy this country than most wars could ever do.

There really aren’t any good choices here—just lesser of evil.

Whatever his past positions, Romney is now running as a conservative. He has a fairly good chance of winning the general election. McCain is not a conservative, he is too old, and he behaves like a nutcase. He is simply not fit to be president. Huckabee and Paul have absolutely no chance of winning the general election.

Romney is not a perfect candidate, but he is easily the best choice we have left. He might well turn out to be a great conservative president.

Vote for Romney.

You know his heart? I thought God was the judge of that? Think about castng stones and the narrowness of the eye of a needle.

"Hey, Mitt is a full time Republican and the most conservative of the three."

Proof ? Evidence ? Sources ? I'm interested in a list of all the Republicans and Conservatives he helped elect to office in Massachusetts. Start with Governor.
