IMO, if we looked back, I’ll bet ole John McCain was giving Reagon some fits too. I’ll give that a look in the morning, if I can get the time.

I agree with that, but I don’t see McCain as a Reagan Conservative even now. He has a heck of a lot of room to carp on Romney. And I don’t even support Romney.

McCain is just an ass.

Romney sent a phone message to our phone at home. In it you hear Bill Clinton stating that John McCain told Hillary that he felt he and she were so alike, that if they were to get the nonimations for their parties, it would be one of the least hostile election seasons ever.

Even McCain thinks he’s just like Hillary. I’ll say this for Hillary though, I don’t know of one single time she has sold out her own party, like John McCain has.

You would probably have to ask a democrat to answer that. A Far Left lunatic would probably say she sold out on Iraq. While “Obama was always against the war”.

I was thinking of that one, but she’s not the only one who voted for the war in Iraq. A lot of democrats did I believe. I’ll go see if I can find the raw vote totals.

And as President Bush prepares to announce his new strategy for Iraq, which may include a surge in troops, the attitude of the Senate towards the war -- and whether its members regret their overwhelming 77-23 October 2002 vote to authorize the president to use force in Iraq -- is critically important.

Yes, it looks like 25 or so Democrats crossed over to approve of operations in Iraq.  That's more than half of them.

My hubby and I laughed pretty hard at McLames new ad picturing him with Reagan and calling himself a conservative.

It takes a lot of nerve to put a blatant lie on National Television.

If he loses the nomination you can bet that ad will be taken out back and stomped on so as not to embarass McLame any further.

McInsane becoming desperate. He is an evil man.

At least Mitt Romney didn't make jokes to the MSM about alzheimer's as McCain did. McCain knows about the media's disdain for former Pres. Reagan and pandered to it.

He has to dig back 25 years to criticise a Republican? Hell, Reagan was a Democrat when he was young too!

If McCain wins the nomination, I'll vote Democrat just to help put a stake in the heart of this phony republican.

John McCain didn't care about tax cuts, the border, or the 1st Amendment. Until he wanted the Presidency.

Mitt Romney didn't care about tax cuts, the border, the 1st Amendment, the 2nd Amendment, or the lives of unborn children. Until he wanted the Presidency.

And he still doesn’t care about any of those things, favoring a “path to citizenship”, the Assault Weapons Ban — oh wait, did he just flip-flop on that, too, in the last month and a half? — and “gay rights”, not to mention socialized health care.

"Mitt Romney didn't care about tax cuts, the border, the 1st Amendment, the 2nd Amendment, or the lives of unborn children. Until he wanted the Presidency."

Really? Did Romney also have a law named after him to destrory 1st amendment free speach rights? Did he also vote against the most successful tax cut in 25 years that saved our economy after 9-11 and the tec bubble crash?

"He's had literally at least two positions on every major issue," McCain said.

Anytime someone uses 'literally' in a sentence, that is a clue they are exaggerating. But this means that at least Romney has been right half of the time. McCain sticks the wrong position tenaciously and calls anyone, who disagrees a racist, a bigot, or something else. McCain is 72 years old, he can not accept an honest disagreement. Every disagreement to McCain is a personal, unfair attack.

For this reason alone, McCain's temperament is unsuited to be President.

How about RomneyCare, the trailblazing socialized health care scheme, about which Romney says the biggest different between that and HillaryCare is that his got passed?

There are none so blind as those who will not see.

Here’s what Judge Robert Bork says about Romney:

“No other candidate will do more to advance the conservative judicial movement than Governor Mitt Romney. He knows firsthand how the judicial branch can profoundly affect the future course of a state and a nation. I greatly admired his leadership in Massachusetts in the way that he responded to the activist court’s ruling legalizing same-sex ‘marriage.’”

Bork, Weyrich, Heritage Foundation, and the Sheriff of Maricopa County endorsed Romney. They know a true conservative when they see one.
